how is the Joker a disappointment, articulation wise?

 

the only things he's missing that Batman has is the bicep swivel, and the chest crunch.

 

the chest crunch would look ridiculous, and I can live without the bicep swivel, because it preserves the sculpt.

I wish they'd come out with more joker goons. I'm kinda disappointed that there's only one "type". Extra disappointed that Mattel won't tackle it with wave 2

How do we know that she actually torched a variant?, she could've just shown the variant, and torched the regular figure.

 

they look the same from the neck down, and we don't see the actual variant ON FIRE.

Ah damn if it is and it looks 6 inchish to me and has thigh cuts......... its a big letdown articulation wise.

It looks more like that is a pack-in figure for that Batmobile/Tumbler.

 

that would be my guess. The figure appears to have a cloth cape (could be wrong, that pic isn't very detailed), which would facilitate him sitting in the cab.

 

Movie Masters "Dark Knight" Batman has a plastic cape, however, so if that's any indication, the "Begins" MM figure should also.

Well, personally i think his articulation sucks for my tastes. I like highly poseable toys and he just doesn't cut it. I'm (slowly but surely) working on a little project to bring him up to snuff.

 

Plus he can't sit. Yeah yeah, so he's got a plastic coat that doesn't really enable him to sit anyway you might say.

 

well i'm taking measures to fix that too.

I'm not that disappointed in the figure. I think it looks great as-is. But then, I'm one of those "Sculpt over articulation" Guys when it comes to movie figures.

I was talking about the Joker figure.

 

I think you're talking about two-face though, and supposedly the one pictured was a 5 inch toy....really nice looking 5 inch toy.

 

...I need to head out and buy some thugs....some for Joker's gang, and a couple more for other suited bat-villains.

 

i've got Black Mask planned out, Ventriloquist and Scarface planned out...debating on whether or not i really want a DK MM styled Riddler...just not sure.

I actually believe that is the 12 inch Batman that had the cape spring thing. If you notice the tumbler is not the 6 inch one because the paint is different. There was no gold on the spoiler, and I actually owned that Batman figure before I gave him to a friend.

That's the Begins Action Cape Batman with the RC Tumbler. I remember WM had a RC Tumbler that looked to be in scale with 12" figures. You can tell it's not the 5" figure tumbler as the cockpit doesn't look like it's able to be opened. Nor does it have the 3 buttons on top.

They said 3-5 business days. On my bill it says Delivery on May 22, but I don't know if that is supposed to be the day they ship it or the day they expect me to have it. I'm guessing that's the day they plan on shipping it though, because they said I'd receive an email with tracking information when they do ship it out and I haven't received that email yet...although it was the weekend so they probably wouldn't have been able to ship it until today anyway.
