Well its not a bad idea, in fact Mattel is doing that well not Constantine but Superman and the early Batman movies are pretty much a lock.

WHAT UP BUDDY!!! & welcome, its always good to get fresh meat for the grinder. Ok so you want my thought on MMs going main stream to included the DC community? Well.........ummm, here the thing with that.

 

DCD is already 10 years deep in to making all the figs u mentioned & many more. & IMO, DCD does a FANTASTIC JOB making figs. Now seeing as how ur new, I feel it nessary to point out that I am strickly a MOC collector. So all thoes complaints about: loose this & broken that, & the infamous "scale issue" so many have with DCD (personaly I don't see a size problem), but none of thoes issues affect me.

 

Now usualy I'm all down for new figs that look good. but let's be real here for a moment. We'er talking about "asking for a 2nd helping" when so many of us haven't had our 1st helping yet!!! Mattel can't get a fig properly distributed if all of creation depended on it! So why the hell am I gonna get my self all excited over new MMs KNOWING FULL WELL, that Mattel doesn't give a SH*T, NOT A BLEEPING SH*T about the collector who's there for them thru thick & thin.

 

When lil johnny & suzie have once again proven to be the lil fickel bastards that they are, & suddenly stop wanting ur crap & switch in mid stream to some other companies toy, WHO THE HELL DOES MATTEL TURN TOO!?!?

 

I'll tell you, US. The adult collector that's who. We who know what the heck we want & are willing to shell out MEGA BUCK to get it! Do you think Mattel is baring us in mind when they chose their line up of figs?.....NOT!!! So my vote is no. I don't want Mattel to start going main stream w/its MMs.

 

Like I tell the straight boys who pretend they wanna get serious............dont start nothing you can't, or won't finish!

I'm for the line moving into Superman and previous Batman movies but only after we are done with TDK and BB. I want a Gordon, Ras and of course Two-Face before we take it anywhere else. There is some more depths we can drill before we pick up the rig and move it. But its not up to us, Mattel hasn't listened to us ever.

But don't take my NO vote the wrong way. i'd love to see all the for mentioned figs in MM line, but WHO THE HELL ARE YOU KIDDING??? no one but your selves, that's who. If they make all thoes great figs in MM line, it'll be the same old routine all over again. this city & state will get tons, while the eastern sea board GETS F***ING ZEROOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

i have to say i kinda agree with queen mattels hubs get a large majority of there figs and people scoop them up and put them on e bay as fast as they can. i live in a lil town called thomasville NC and by the time any of our stors get anything u have to go through people who work at the stors first hopeing they dont collect. then u have to go through other people who go and buy up all they can to make a profit and leave nothing for those of us who just collect for our selves. just want one joker or unmasked batman whch is hard enough when they are only comeing one to a case of only 4 figs. i did get lucky and had a guy put back a green lanturn at target but days like that are far and few between. mattels cases used to be like 10 figs per but i guess those days are gone.. lets see iv spent about about $180 on e bay just to get a ghoul bats and a unmasked bats and a joker wave 2 and my toys r us 2 pack and i still need a joker wave 1 but around here its like finding a bag of money on the side of the road. just wont happen!!! cause of asses buying all they can find just to sell them for way to much on the bay when mattel could just make more avalable to us i go almost 100 miles on a quest to try to find just one fig but no luck so some times its better to pay 40 or 50 bucks on e bay just to save gas iv even called mattel tryin to get a case but they dont sell to just your avg joe but yet cry out there not makeing any profit. so i do see queens side about even if they did make the figs it will be super hard to find them cause they dont send enough out weather in cases or are slow to ship out to the stors at all or pull them just to shoot up prices you almost have to laugh to keep from crying

oh and one more thing weather or not u find them at wal mart or target or of e bay hope u can find it in great shap not diged up and trashed or if u get it from e bay hope the person shipping it wraps it good or u will get a damaged pakage then u have to try to find another im anel about what the figs look like and the packageing

i dont have a REAL problem finding mattel products. actually, i found my figs (except corps sin) before you. not saying that like it matters, im just saying that since mattel started pumping out DC figs, ive been catching them. remember....the 1st sighting was only aug 7th. i had them by the 15th.....pretty quick!

 

this was my only problem(that i fixed ) we dont have much trouble finding stuff(me and the real pooda) you set 'em up, we'll knock 'em down!

Idc where the line goes but I know I will end up paying at least 5 dollars over retail. So far I've seen one Robin from DCU and it was 17 bucks. I can't find any DCU and no chases on MM but again that is where I live. So the secondary market is where I usually get my stuff. So whatever happens happens but I do think that the south gets screwed (with the exception of Florida) pretty hard when it comes to collecting and toys in general.

Pooda...Where do you get your money from???...my girl was curious....and is it satifying to open the chase figs...i look at mine everyday and its tempting but whats gonna happen when i open them...they depreciate drastically and i dont play with them so...they just sit on my dresser and fall over everytime i open it??..

hey all i got lucky and found a unmasked 12 inch bruce to batman at tru a few days ago i found it up where they keep the stock behind the door if you know where im talking about i dont know if some one hid it or what but out of 10 reg bats it was tha only one i was about to poo i couldnt belive i found one and i broke down today and got a crank and launch batpod till tha movie masters pod comes out has any one heared any news on when that may be? i am seeing a few more mms around but some jerks are buying all the jokers as soon as they come in i saw a guy from the town over from me on e bay has 4 or 5 of them for sell now im all about makein a few buck but dang leave one or two for some one else im still looking for a joker from the first wave but im not paying 50 or 70 bucks for a 20 dollar figure at best. i mean hell they only sell for 12 so if any one has an extra joker wave 1 they want to get rid of for sell or trade please let me know i do have a wave 2 and a tru joker but i just like to have it to have it kinda like a set i guess. im just weired maybe and im with the other guy who looks at there chase figs but dont open them even though i want to . i know ill only mess with it and pose it for a little while them hate myself for opening it lol.
