Sence MMs came out months ago, I've watch ENTIRE buildings get built! From the 1st ground breaking to the last coat of paint being applied (& considering how slow unions move that's saying alot).

 

So that why I cry HOG WASH!! I don't want to hear any more BS excuses from Mattel about late production FX slowing down the Two Face MM. If an enitre Wawa can get built in just a few short months then I don't think its unreasonable to expect a freakin 6" fig to roll of the line soon after.

 

Once Mattel is triffeling with us. Making us hold out till the very end. Hopeing that in some lame ass act of desperation we might buy a bunch of Mattel Batman crap that we don't real want, just so we can get our toy buying fix!

 

So like I say. they can play their lil games if they want to, but my cash will end up in others pockets while they hold out till the very end. Why the hell am I gonna fork out crazy mad cash to buy a Mattel joker fig, when all I need to do is wait for Hot Toys stuff to roll out. at least they know how to meet demand & adhear to a release schdule!!! & buy the time Mattle has gotten there act together.........my wallet will have been long emptied, & once again corperate america will have lost out to over seas because they don't know how to meet demand!

I agree. It doesn't make sense why it is taking so damn long for the Two-Face. But they have been weird since the beginning of the this line. No toy line that has nothing wrong with it should be "recalled" or there shouldn't be the drought we saw months ago. And then the stories of employees taking figures out of peoples hands because the figures were suppose to go to the back. And now we get word that Two-Face will arrive around 09. It doesn't make sense. Something is wrong with Mattel.

yeah but that's my whole point. my collection is'nt complete either, I still need unmasked & ghoul Bats (the only reason thoes figs where this freakin short packed was to draw attention away from Ledger's fig). The less people thought about his passing the "better". So what better way to do that, other than to short pack the hell outta two Bats!

 

But I AM ready to Boycott!!! Iike I've been saying Mattle think is Dark Knight money train will last forever. So there gonna play every lil retarted trick up their sleeve untill they get their way. that's why I'm turning to other companies to get what Mattel won't or can't give me! The net is far & vast, & over sea Co. are begging for american $$$ & are ready & willing to meet demand.

Is series 3 out now? Because at Target today I saw what looked to be 2 cases of the rumored series 3 lineup -

And I did see a while back that entertainment earth had series 2 up for pre-order where they listed the case as...

So from what I saw at Target it looked to be 2 fresh cases of that rumored assortment on the pegs.

 

Series 2 had Scarecrow and Series 3 have rereleased Scarecrow but beyond the 2 Thugs I saw about 3 weeks ago I haven't seen anymore. Also whats the new TDK Batman pose look like? I have only seen the same pose for all the TDK Batman figure, same one since series 1.

 

He's in sort of a karate kicking pose. Here's one from ebay -

I'm missing those figures too. But Mattel has always kind of played with its collectors. By putting exclusives in certain stores, short packaging characters or entire waves. And now with the MMs they are doing some strange things. From the disappearance, to the new cards, to the changes in paint and sculpts, to the wait on Two-Face. Some of it doesn't...well, most of it doesn't make sense. Mattel doesn't fully know how to handle its customers over the age of 10. They have Matty Collector but if you aren't preordering the MOTU classics there nothing there for you right now. They need to take some notes from DCD whether DCU is better figures or not at least DCD knows how to handle its customers.

I wouldn't either its a highly detailed figure with a very wide range of motion and nice accessories but for the price and for the just general overall look of the figure the MMs are more than enough to satisfy me. But its certainly not crap. Also Gotham Knight kind of sucked I agree.
