I'm planning to do a few customs with some of the old RAH comic-pack figures - I'm just wondering if using an airbush or spray can is worth it. Does it produce a better coat on something as small as RAH parts? Should I just stick to brushes?

Thanks in advance!

Once you prime the parts, you can use anything you like.

The thing about spraying is to remember to use LIGHT coats, maybe just a single pass or two, and let that dry. Really, just lightly mist in the paint, not even trying to cover it at first. Then do a second light coat, dry, and a third and so on until you get the coverage you want. Resist the temptation to spray on a solid coat right out of the gate.

The trick here is in the priming, because some aerosol paints can craze the plastic, so priming is a wise precaution. Always do tests before committing to the prized piece.
