Anybody here Collect/Army Build/Customize These ?

You guys have all been to Walmart , you've seen and should know what these are......well if not , they're 21st Century figures .... you know the 3.3/4 figures ... Well they come in two-packs now, and for the same price.....anybody else here see them ?

I've used some of there heads to make unique X-wing fighter pilots.

I prefer the Bbi Elite Forces. Way I see it, if they're not going to put out some kind of generic Joe, the next best thing are these guys. They lack just a little on articulation at the waist / thigh area, but they look pretty danm good as filler for the Joe team! Not as pricey, either (4.99). The one's you are talking about, I look at, but see you have to take them apart and rebuild for different poses, and that just makes me worry about breakage.

 

Bbi also has the 1:18 scale vehicles to use while waiting for Hasbro to release some. I like the Abrams and the HUMVEEs, but when put next to the recent HISS and Striker, there's a significant size difference. GI Joe does not driver realisticly sized vehicles, apparently. I'd really like to see if they have a Rattler in mind, and how it would compare to the Elite Operations A-10 at TrU. (The one that was customized recently in another thread.)

The BBI stuff rocks. And I can't wait for the Indy stuff. Unfortunately, I think I will be in the UK on biz when they launch. I am hoping the wifey and the JOhio network can hook me up.

Joe, I'll certainly flesh out my troops with the Indy figures. Plus the articulation is about the same, so they'll fit right in.

As for the HALO stuff, I plan to hit Dark Horse up.
