welcome to my hell. 160usd means 300usd with delivery to my hometown. so who wants to be in my place? @jump# @jump# @jump# thanks HASBRO.

If your tax laws permit, get a side business started doing something that involves the use of the figures in some way ( I use them for reference material) and then you can probably write them off as a tax deduction ( which I do.)

Helps soften the blow of the cost--and I've been paying roughly double ( US prices) for my ML figures for years now up here in Canada

i should send the bill to my boss, since i work in a toyshop and say that i ordered some figures for research @loll@ @loll@ @loll@ @loll@ i realy wanna see his face.

Marvel Legends originally came out at $7.99 in 2002 ?? Now it is almost three times as much ?? Wowwoweee !!?? Alas, I will have to live on Ramen noodles and 99 cent burgers to afford these things !! Gotta tighten up the belt and wait eight long months for that Black Bolt . . . boo hoo.

Regular ML figures are $10 (like the Black Bolt you mention). Hulk figures are going to be $15.

Even with the $20 mistake, I'm not finding the 'three times' you mention anywhere in this.

This is ridiculous. Welcome to a word that not only allows corporate greed…but defends it. Sure plastics made from oil. We're all aware of that. What I'm not aware of is how on gods green Earth a single figure could cost me $20. I don't care how big the B-A-F is! I can scarcely justify myself paying almost $10 for ML's.

Considering that LCBH was $10 a pop, and DCUC is $10 a pop, Spawn figures have been $10 a pop for years, and MLs were, yes, $10 a pop before Hasbro...

Toy BIz was 6.99 or 7.99; that's where he was getting the "three times as much"

Toy Biz was $6.99 or $7.99. That is where he got the 3 times as much.

I'm not sure what you think you were paying before, but $10 is pretty much the standard. Trying to 'justify' it is a matter of taking the entire industry to task, not just Hasbro.

The Hulk figures... that's a totally separate issue. Using $10 as an outrage to springboard an outrage for $15 just isn't making any sense.

Welcome to a world run by money.

Welcome to the rest of the world. Check your naivete at the door.

I wouldn't get your hopes up for the exclusive to be less. Heck, I wouldn't get your hopes up to even get it if you go to SDCC judging by the number they're supposed to have. That thing will sell out in the first few hours of the first day.

noo hasbro is smart they have speciffic quantities for each day, they've had it like this for the past 3 years i've been, if its out of 100%, 15% will be used on thursday, 35% Friday, 35% Saturday, and 15% sunday. plus you have to do this dumb ticket thing where you have to pick a ticket out of a bag.

imagine this, at least 400 people standing in a giant line, the line is split up into 10 smaller lines, and a person goes around with a bag to the front of each line, a person draw a ticket out, theres 2 kinds though a white and a pink ticket, if you get a pink one you have to come back the next day to get in another line to then buy your exclusives, which you then limited in the amount of items you can buy, but if you get a white ticket you have to wait until the next ticket give away(there were 3 ticket chances aday, morning, lunch, and evening) to try again to get a pink ticket. o and in this bag theres probably 100 pink tickets and at least 300 white tickets,i swear im not exaggerating this, this is what they used last year, and lots of people had problems with it and complain to the CC officials so its not likely to stick, but it could if they revise it.

i lucky got a pink ticket and was able to buy my crap, but they were sold out of some things already and it was only friday evening.

I went thru the line 4 times before I got the pink ticket, but I got a 2nd ticket while in line and got double of everything.

ya i really hated it i think i must have waited at least 2 1/2 hours before i actually was buying what i wanted, it really cut down on how fast they sold out of stuff but it was kind of unfair to some

Its inflation, oh well, just as many are made about oil prices, us collectors are made about the increase in figure price. Here is my advice get the hulk figures you want and trade for or buy the other BAF peices that you need. Let us play the game, lets not have the game play us. "There is more than one way to skin a cat," as old people always seem to say.

What sucked most was that on preview night when I went they were allowing people to buy more then when they noticed that they were selling fast they lowered the buying limit on some. Which is why some soldout at the con like gold destro and rodimus. They still have she-hulk & stan lee on hts.com don't they.

ya i was tryin to get 2 rodimus, one to display and one for opening, but they only let me get 1, but on preview night i saw a guy and his wife with 5, while the stan lee's and she-hulks were really overstocked

Are you going this year? I can't make this year but next years a go.

Maybe if the the limit for the hulk line is over 1, you could help me out. I think I rather get him ahead of time, I don't mind the shipping.

Toy BIz was 6.99 or 7.99; that's where he was getting the "three times as much"

Annihilator quoted a price of $7.99. Working off of that, there is no way that $10, $15, or even $20 is 'three times'.

Even $6.99 (which he didn't quote) only comes close to 'three times' when you use the incorrect $20 price tag.

He's either making a joke or using pointless internet exaggeration that is defeated by simple math.

I WAS looking forward to the Fin Fang Foom wave, but not now, I might still pick up one or two figure, but it doesn't look like this wave if for me, $15 or $20 is too much for boring old Hulk figures. I realize that the price of oil is a factor in the absurd price, but I know that Hasbro is taking advantage of us.

they're too pricey... i think i'm only gonna get the red hulk, and doc samson... goodbye foom, seems like i'm not gonna have you...

Good luck with that Red Hulk, considering he's the BAF to the new HML4. ;)

what??? i didn't know that! holy cow... HML4 or 5? i thought nemesis is still the baf for HML4? those waves are exclusive, so, goodbye too, red hulk! i thought he was part of the hulk waves...

no, actually they were 7 bucks for a long time.... even as late as series 12, they were 6.88 at a few targets around here.

I meant back in 2002, they were $6.99 (curse my fat fingers!). But proposed $ 19.99 is almost 3 times as much ( I said almost). So what's a dollar off? Count the tax too ya know? Harhh harr!

The ARP of $19.99 is a mistake, a TYPO, a misprint.

The actual CORRECT ARP is $14.99. The regular ML figures will be priced at around $9.99
