I'm thrilled with the new figures listed, some of my favorites that I felt had been overlooked are finally included! I still think Dusty is being sorely missed, though.

Also, I fear many people will be so excited by the new figures listed that they will vote for them before they've even been seen/released. This could lead to a problem early next year when we have the remnants of the regular waves are still on the pegs, and these HoH figures come out. It would suck to turn the 10 best figures into peg-warmers. Here's hoping, though.

OK, so for the new ones, and I'm not voting until I see 'em (hopefully soon)

51 Duke Tiger Force - Will they fix his arms like Flint?

52 Cobra Wraith - From DDP Comics?

53 Mutt & Junkyard - Cool

54 Cobra Para-Vipers - More army builders, cool

55 Cobra Bazooka Trooper - see above

56 Cobra Croc Master - Really want to see how this guy looks

57 Pilot Scarlett - Glenda?

58 Specialist Trakker - Who? The guy from MASK?

59 Sgt. Airborne - Sweet!

60 Cobra Eel - One of my most wanted army builders!

61 Swamp Zartan - Would this be classic look Zartan?

62 Flint in Cobra gear - hmm.....

And that's all I've got so far.

Has any one noticed that this list of single carded figures released / to be released in 2008 include all the single carded figures released in 2007?

Oh boy. Now we get to vote for Hasbro's next repaint wave in '09. That's marketing for ya.

I find that funny too since that's what seems to be what they want to do with a LOT of figures anyway. It's not like TFs where a new deco can be a different character. With Joe its merely a different uniform.

the term "Unique Deco" is was concerns me on this....that and special packaging...could this be like Solid Silver or Bronze statues of the "Hall of Heroes"....

I am ok with getting to pick our own repacks/repaints as long as they fit in with our current figures.

Well, if I don't like the deco, I won't get it, it's really that simple.

But I'm not a completist.

I agree, but that doesn't mean we won't get Dusty in the line though. WE still have several waves of comic packs, DVD packs, and vehicles in which hasbro could put in a Dusty figure.

I went ahead and voted, they don't show results. I can guarantee that this would end up like the Star Wars polls with troop builders being about the only thing voted for by the fans.

I'll almost guarantee that the wave will include duke, Flint, Snake Eyes, and a few other core characters. It would look bad if the "Hall of Heroes" was nothing but nameless soldiers @smilepunch@

Ummm... If I abstain from voting, does that count as one for not wasting time and money on this? I think the best solution , as proposed already, is to vote in nothing but COBRA army builders - that was a good idea! It seems like the company is getting so lazy as to not even want to pick the inevitable repaints themselves anymore, making it our job. Isn;t that kind of like a parent being forced to choose which of their children to sacrifice so the other might live? (Albeit an extreme example...)

What would have been more interesting and rewarding is if they made a list of the characters they had not created yet, and let us choose from them. But I guess we won't know until we see them if they are worth having.

The 10 figures will NOT be all Cobra troop builders, I can guarantee that. Given how far ahead Hasbro works, they likely already have a rough plan for the Hall of Heroes, and the results from this vote will only effect certain decisions (like putting in Tiger Force Flint instead of regular Flint for example).

Keep in mind that Hasbro is already working on the GI Joe movie product, they have likely already gotten all their new tooling for the 25th/Modern line done by this point and are working on things like GI Joe Robot Hero toys, the figure line, the numerous vehicles and other associated merchandise for the film next year.

It is every single carded figure. They said through 2008. That means from when the single packs started, in 2007, all the way to whatever they end with in 2008.

I would not want to vote just army builders in case they are just colored in a solid metal look or something like that. Plus I want to see those othe ten or so guys before voting.

When I saw that Flint in Cobra Gear I thought of him from the Revenge Of Cobra where Flint and Mutt were in Cobra uniforms.

Trakker is probably Tacker and Scarlett could just have a modified head with a helmet like the Comic 3-pack RAH Lady Jaye.

I'm anxious to see what the Para Troopers look like.

Sigh, so another Duke (7 or 8), another Scarlett (4), and a third Flint for this year, and then a WHOLE BUNCH of repaints for 09.

I wish that Hasbro would get it right and try to release more DIFFERENT characters (Zap, Short-fuze, Cover Girl, Airtght, Lifeline... you get the idea). Instead they keep rehashing the same characters, likely using the same molds with slightly different paint.
