ok i don't know if anyone else found and posted about this so don't tear me apart if they did. i have the mark 2 & 3 toys along with the iron monger, and today i picked up the target exclusive silver centurion figure. i didn't open it like my other toys cause i was planning on getting another one with a better paint app, but then noticed something with the package. On the front in the top right corner is some writing is reads: "As seen in the movie and Marvel Adventures Iron Man comic (Issue #12)", now i just blew it off as what ever until i noticed that the same massage wasn't on any other of my figures packages (not even the exclusive war machine). then i remembered i had a comic book from the ML series silver centurion iron man figure, where he fights and defeats Iron Monger(comic: Iron Man # 200)(SPOILER ALERT )

Iron Monger Killed HIMSELF

, but i could they have possibly have translated this into the movie, its on the SC toys box and no other one, is it a mistake? or just nothing at all? or a possible scoop? you decide

maybe the iron-monger beats the crap out of iron-man during the night time battle we keep seeing in the previews, and maybe he then builds the SC suit, wouldn't that be a freakin sweet ending. im just thinking aloud someone else please give me your thoughts.

i copied this from user Dreeday as proof:

i don't see it in the pic. unless it's those two illegible lines beneath the stripes in the corner

It's slightly more visible here: http://marvelousnews.com/database/gv.php?d...ic=DSCN5291.jpg

Just to answer about the Marvel Adventures of Ironman it is a new comic series that Marvel made recently along with such names as the Marvel Adventures of Hulk. This target exclusive Armor is not Silver Centurion (as many people think), it is an armor from issue twleve or thirteen of Marvel Adventures of Ironman which does not follow the old Ironman stories but new ones just like the Hulk one and whatever Marvel Adventures comics they have. I know I posted a topic stating that it was but when I bought it I realized it was not Silver Centurion at all but a new armor from this story line, but still a good stand in for Silver Centurion.

He's right. It's based off of the Marvel Adventures series. It's a series of books dedicated to kids. Simple story lines, easier to read, continunity free, etc.. They have Avengers, F4, Spidey, Hulk, and Iron Man. Interesting is that it's actually issue 11, that came out like a week ago. 12 isn't even out yet.

ya, thats right, but isnt it very possible that that suit is based on the silver centurion?

Probably an intentional homage

Aside from the colors, I really don't see any real similarities to the Silver Centurion that aren't shared by dozens of other models of armor.
