some big [talented] euro guy - Thor

 

Timothy Olyphant - Hawkeye (ultimates version)

Hilary Swank - She-hulk or Black Widow

 

Maggie Q (with short hair) - Wasp (ultimates version)

Matthew McC, Ryan Phillipe - Antman/Giantman (ultimates version)

 

Quicksilver - Jake Gyllenhall

Scarlet Witch - Maggie Gyllenhall

 

Djmon Hansou - Black Panther

Don Cheadle - Falcon (ultimates version)

Maria Bello - Carol Danvers (ultimates version)

Jason Statham - Captain Britain

 

that's just my list, obviously not all have to be in the movie that's just the ones i could think of

I'll go ahead and say the first 3 are givens, Sam Jackson, Ed Norton, and Robert Downey Jr. I agree with you about Maggie Q, Matthew Mcconaughey and Brad Pitt as well. I can't picture DiCaprio as Cap though.

My choices:

Kevin McKidd - Thor

He's rumored to be taking on the role in the Thor movie, seems like a good enough choice to me too.

 

Mila Jovovich - Black Widow

Maybe I just want to see her in tight leather? I dunno. I think she's proven to be a badass woman (see Resident Evil Trilogy) and she's hot.

 

Clive Owen - Hawkeye

Most I'm sure will disagree with this choice, but I can easily see Clive Owen pulling this part off with ease.

 

Possible Cameos or Team Members:

Ray Winstone - Dum Dum Dugan

The voice of Beowolf. You actually saw him in The Departed as Mr. French. He's a bit hefty, toss a moustache and a bowler hat on him and you have Dum Dum!

 

Stellan Skarsgård - Odin

If you've seen King Arthur, he was the main baddy Cerdic. Slap a beard on him again and toss in an eye patch and some form of crown and you have the King of the Gods and Thor's Daddy! (He also was in Pirates of the Caribbean as Bootstrap Bill)

 

Jamie Bell - Quicksilver

The other guy with powers in Jumper. The roll wouldn't be toooo far off for him.

 

Scarlett Johansson - Scarlet Witch

She's hot...and her first names Scarlett and it would be killer to see her fill in the skimpy outfit of Scarlet Witch

 

Ray Park - Iron Fist

I think it's been confirmed he's playing Iron Fist, but I think it's totally fitting that the former Darth Maul and future Snake Eyes (confirmed) to play the Martial Arts master!

 

Morris Chestnut - Luke Cage

He was in Anaconda 2 and The Cave. He's a big, black dude and he can do action.

 

Possible Villains:

Ingvar Eggert Sigurðsson - Loki

Look him up, he looks the part. He's Icelandic. He was in K-19: The Widowmaker and he played Grendel in the Live Action Beowolf & Grendel a few years back.

 

Frank Langella - Red Skull

Dude played Skeletor in the Masters of the Universe! Do the same makeup, turn it red...you got one BAD-A$$ Red Skull!

 

Brian Thompson - Brock Rumlow/Crossbones

Originally I had Thompson picked for Red Skull, but then I thought about and Langella sounded so much better. So why not have Thompson's big, menacing frame take on the roll of Red Skull's henchman Crossbones? Brian was a regular on X-Files as the big, scary, alien-human hybrid Bounty Hunter. He played Shao Khan in Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, so wearing a skull-mask isn't too foreign to the guy.

 

Rosario Dawson - Madame HYDRA/Viper/Merriem Drew

I just wanted to cast her in this somehow and I think she could pull off a villaness.

 

Christopher Lee - Ultron (voice)

I think his voice has a certain power to it that would really fit nicely with Ultron.

-i can't see Clive Owen as Hawkeye, he always screamed Hal Jordan to me

-the reason i had Leo is if they did the everyman Cap, if it was the idealist then Brad should do it. but then they're both awesome so they could do either

As far as Ant-Man goes. Alan Tudyk and Simon Pegg have both been popular suggestions for the role. I also read Ant-Man (as in the movie to be released in 2010) is going to be Scott Lang not Hank Pym, so I suppose Hank Pym should appear as Giant Man with Lang as Ant-Man and I'd have to go with Alan Tudyk (Wash from Firefly/Serenity). People say Simon Pegg is the most likely to get the roll because Edgar Wright (co-writer of Ant-man) co-wrote Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz with Pegg.

 

McKidd is rumored on IMDb to be playing Thor, but IMDb also had Rosemary Harris playing Aunt May/Carnage in Spiderman 3 for quite awhile (lol).

 

Also just read Tyrese Gibson is playing Luke Cage...

 

I could totally see Clive as Hal Jordan.

 

Some other Marvel Characters:

 

Bruce Campbell - Quentin Beck/Mysterio

Bruce Campbell still reigns as the only villain to defeat Spiderman in the films (he didn't let Peter past when he was late for MJ's play) and I'd love to see him put on the fish bowl.

 

Sean Penn - Shocker

Sean Penn would make the Shocker a badass.

 

Michelle Rodrieguez - Echo

Whilst I'm sure there's many possible females that could fill the role, I think Michelle could pull it off.

 

Javier Bardem - Vengeance

The odd-ball killer from No Country for Old Men could fill the role nicely I think.

 

Christian Bale - Dr. Strange

Kind of a younger take on the character, I just feel Bale could pull off the character and really make him cool. If Norton wasn't already playing Hulk I'd actually suggest him for the role.

 

Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa - Mandarin

Shang Tsung...

 

Josh Holloway/Cole Hauser - other dudes possible for Hawkeye

Sawyer from Lost might not be a bad choice for the role of Hawkeye. He was rumored at one time to be tackling the role of Gambit back when Gambit was written into X-3.

 

Cole Hauser was the lead in Paparazzi. He's the Bounty Hunter in Pitch Black too (William J. Johns).

 

Ewan McGreggor/Keanu Reeves/Christian Bale - Matt Murdoch/Daredevil

Apparently Affleck has turned down playing DD in the next flick (if there is going to be a DD2).

I always thought Micheal Biehn (Terminator, Aliens, Abyss, Navy Seals, The Rock, etc) was a perfect fit for Captain America. Military role which he excels at and just looked like him so much. Too bad he's a bit too old now.
