Saturday’s Miami Herald has a feature story on Ric Flair. The article mentions twice that Triple H will induct Flair into the WWE Hall of Fame. Flair also provided an update on his son Reid Flair, who is training at WWE’s developmental territory in Florida.

“''I think [Reid] is feeling more pressure than he's letting on,'' Flair said. “He has had such a phenomenal amateur career. His confidence is good. I just think he is a little bit overwhelmed because all this is happening to me now. I think he feels like it's pressure on him, but it's not. In this case, it's a good thing. There is no doubt in my mind that he will be able to pull it off.” To read the full article, which also features quotes regarding Gary Hart, visit the MiamiHerald.com.

Well, Triple H has basically said Ric Flair was God to him on numerous occassions. Seeing as Flair and Trips are good friends also, it seems as fitting for HHH to get the honor as it would for Ricky Steamboat. Dusty Rhodes, Roddy Piper, or Arn Anderson would have been more fitting than Steamboat, in my opinion, and I'm not knocking Steamboat. With a person like Ric Flair, the sky is really the limit when it comes to who could have done the induction.

Personally, I would have loved to have seen Flair's induction be like a roast with plenty of speakers talking about Naitch. If anyone ever deserved that kind of induction, it would be Flair.
