How many paint variations of War Machine are there? There seems to be one with just a silver torso, one with a gray torso and then one with a charcoal torso (painted like the rest of the armor). What's the deal? Also, I didn't know there was a packaging variant of the Green Goblin wearing a mask. All those that I've seen have him unmasked. Neato.

DOes anyone know why on the back of MK.3, the Iron monger with removeable chestplate has a guy with white hair and no beard as obidiah stane?

That's a good question. The Iron Monger on Hasbrotoyshop.com has a version that does have the Jeff Bridges character in it. We may have a variant on our hands!

I picked up MK II & III. I searched through my local Walmart for a War Machine without a terrible paint job. Most of the ones I saw had scratches and black smears. Anyone else have a QA issue with War Machine. If it's a common thing then I may suck it up and pick up the figure. If not I'll hold out for a better batch of them.

does anyone else think the movie iron man looks a lot closer to the iron man we've had in comics the past two or so years than series 8? He almost looks like he could pass as a comic based iron man. Will anyone be displaying him as a comic based figure?

My series 8 IM looks brown and tan (with buck teeth) compared to the movie Mk III. Even though I still kind of like ML8 he's taking a back seat to MKIII for sure. It helps that Adi Granov and Jon Favreau did that short story in issue #25 so I can say MKIII has appeared in a comic.

Two bits says he painted it or took the silver sharpie too it :D Ah scratch that! Looking up at the pics more closely there do indeed seem to be a black and silver variants out there at least from what I can see of the different packaged pics!

I'm not sure what goblin you are talking about but if its the toybiz series one they did a unmasked chase variant

Goes to show what I said all along, Movie Iron Man looks diminutive next to FO Captain America. They coulda made him a little more wider and muscled. No wonder Steve Rogers can bash his hide with or without his armour on. lol @loll@

Here's the thing; Face Off Cap is much bigger than Face Off Iron Man, remember. MKIII is a bigger figure than Face Off Iron man.
