Abomination or Secret Idenity Spider-man?

SpidermanClassics

Recommended Posts

So I have to chose between Onslaught series Abomination or Secret Idenity Spider-man (red card comes with back pack, Peter Parker head, arms, and cloths to turn into Peter Parker) Which one should I get or get first. Spider-man usually out ways all and probley will, but I really want that abonmination figure as well! What are you're thoughts?

P.S. Finally got that Man-spider from Spider Classics series 1! Its pretty hard to find now and a good find, and good figure would you all agree?

the spiderman is harder to find

but abomination is better

spiderman has hasbro ball joint head so he cant really look up or down, has not torso articulation

has ball joint shoulder, single joint knees and elbows, hinge ankles, and cut wrists, not the best articulation, but i like the peter parker head

Well, looks like the votes are all going to Abomination. I've got both of those figures, and though I agree that Abomination is pretty rockin', I gotta go with the Spider-Man figure because I know nothing about Abomination and the figure just kinda sits around in a box with others that came at the expense of building a figure.

The Spider-Man figure is unique among Spidey figures, since it's not crapped up with an action feature. It's got limited articulation, but that doesn't stop it from being a fun and interesting toy.

So, if you REALLY like Abomination, then I'd totally go for 'em since it's a great figure. However, if you're a bigger Spider-Man fan, then I'd go for the Peter/Spidey. It's also a great figure and has a lot of play value (even if he is stuck with web-shootin' hands).

Nice you should post a pic of the custom you made out of it.

As soon as I get my PC up and running and have a camera, I'm planning on posting pics of all my part-swaps. For now I will just describe it.

I took the heads from that secret ID Spidey and the torso from the "Peter Parker" Spidey, as well as the legs from the Spin 'n' Trap Spidey (whose head Jin used for his killer MvC Spidey) and made an Ultimate Spider-Man with swappable masked/unmasked heads that is pretty close to the comic-accurate height.

I also used the head from the "Peter Parker" Spidey on the body of the Cyber Spider-Man for a Spidey to include in the storyline I have been creating which is basically AoA meets Inferno (in which the X-Men lose and Sym/Goblin Queen et all take over North America).
