THE GAME GOES BACK ON HIS THRONE HAHA

That entire segment was... just wrong last night.

Basically, we take everyone on the roster (that isn't HBK, Kennedy, Flair, Jericho, or anyone else with main event potential deemed too good to not be exposed) and let them get squashed by Orton and Cena. Then, we have them get squashed by Triple H. The entire roster is squashed by Triple H through association. It is one giant handjob for Trip's ego. Good for him.

Personally, I think the build for this match has been lacking. As predictable as having each man fix a one-on-one match between the other two during this Triple Threat Takeover would have been, it would have also been the right thing to do. Those matches would have been far more interesting and less deterimental to the rest of the brand than what last night's deal was.

All of that said, good for Triple H getting his belt back at WrestleMania 24. It'll be a fresh change of pace from the Cena era, must like Randy Orton has been a great champion for me because it has been fresh.

They just HAVE to ditch the crappy spinner when HHH steps up to the plate with the belt. I mean Cmon. MAYBE Randy can get away with it but there is no way HHH can have a belt that spins and says CHAMP on it in big diamond studded letters.

I want that ugly thing GONE!

I am going to be so happy when/ if Cena gets the belt back. Then all you guys on here that hate him will really go ballisitic. I'm so looking forward to this outcome...

Of course it's made sense to expect HHH to win the title back at WM24 since his quad injury in January 2007.

BUT.... I was just thinking.... Cena is undefeated at Wrestlemania, right? 4-0? It's not a huge streak... yet... but if they keep it going in a few years they really could make something out of a Wrestlemania streak vs. streak match against the Undertaker. Might be the only way to put some doubt in an UT WM.

Of course they screwed it up for this year with Edge not winning MITB last year, and this would require plenty of forethought and long term planning as well as UT staying active, at least for WM, for a few more years. But I think it would make the most sense for Cena to win the title at Mania this year, to continue his streak, and hey, it could be the start for a hot title feud with HHH chasing Cena. Kinda like when Rock didn't win the title at WM2000, instead HHH kept it and they held the title change off until Backlash. Though most likely HHH will need the ego stroke of winning the title at WM.

Edge is techincally undefeated at WM due to his "injury" and removal from the money in the bank match last year. I think they are going on the whole never beaten in a singles match.

I thought Edge was undefeated at Wrestlemania?

He was in the MITB match last year and did not win... if you do or do not call that a defeat, whatever...

BUT I think aside from 1 mention of it by Edge in his first promo after NWO, knowing he'd now be facing UT at WM, the WWE is not playing up Edge's 'streak' or a streak vs. streak dynamic in the Edge/UT feud.

More like never ben pinned. There have been matches he was in that he didn't win, but that's because they were multiperson matches where one of the other poeple was pinned.

It's not matches, it's 1 match. And it's not where someone else was pinned, it's where someone else got the MITB briefcase in a ladder match.

Here's Edge's entire Wrestlemania history:

WM14: Edge had not debuted

WM15: He was just a Brood/Ministry Member that helped with the hanging stunt after hell in a cell

WM16: Edge & Christian won the Triangle Ladder match for the tag team titles (Edge Won)

WM17: Edge & Christian won the TLC match for the tag titles (Edge Won)

WM18: Edge defeated Booker (Edge Won)

WM19: Edge was out with neck surgery

WM20: Edge was still out with neck surgery

WM21: Edge won the first Money in the Bank ladder match (Edge Won)

WM22: Edge defeated Mick Foley (Edge Won)

WM23: Edge participated in, but did not win the MITB ladder match (Edge did not Win)

On the WM15 pre-show "Free-for-all" there was a battle royal to determine the tag title challengers, it was won by Test & D-lo Brown, though I don't know if Edge participated in it. If he did, he did not win, he would have been eliminated/thrown out. Though the match wasn't a part of Wrestlemania 'proper' anyway.
