Morbius the Melting Vampire

Has anyone else experienced that their Morbius, from the awesome Spider-Man Classics figure line, has started melting. I was moving my figures the other day and noticed that his face has started to melt and droop and sag and well it's just nasty looking. I'm not sure if it was heat or sunlight that did it in, as i try to keep it away from direct heat and sunlight as it can do damage as they are just plastic and rubber. I'm curious now if my Venom from the same line will go the same way eventually. Has anybody else had this problem w/any of their figures?

I was pleased to see that you can pick up Morbius fairly cheap on eBay though, so in a few days I will have another non-melty Morbius in my hands.

Its been widely reported before.

The plasticizers in the vinyl material for the jaw are unstable and prone to melting.

Unfortunately, there is no fix for it, and the process is irreversible.

It will, over time, decompose and fall off.

happened to my morbie.then his arm fell off.i shoulda kept him away from the sunlight.

you should keep anything you collect away from the sunlight as it will damage or yellow it sooner or latter a nice dark room with no light is the best place for collectibles
