Articulated Beast Raider: Savage Warrior

I picked up a few of these Beast Raider, Savage Warrior, figures, and decided to bash one onto a WWE Build and Brawl Batista figure. (I may or may not repaint the figure.)

That is a great idea! I picked up the whole line of Build a Brawl figures, and I was just at a Big Lots the other day and almost picked up some of these figures...I guess I'll have to go back now!

Thanks! This bashing is well worth doing. For around $9.00 you get a nice universal barbarian type figure.

I'm going to repaint the entire figure, so all the flesh tones match.

Very nice bash, I don't think you need to paint him.

.....John ...this is what a Fantasy figure should both look like (in general) and how it should function (articulation).

Excellent work . Ive had the entire run of Beast Raiders for some time now with plans to do almost exactly this (a different head / same head modified or tweaked and some other modifications) but i wasnt interested in using Joe or Microman as a base. Ive been swamped with real life and other projects and put the idea on the back burner but this ..wow...this has brought it back fully.

The Beast Raiders line is a phenomenally well sculpted and imaginative line IMO and when i look at this bash i see what would have brought me back into the MOTU line had it been done this way. A true 3 3/4'' fully articulated fantasy / barbarian line? Hands down success. As much as i liked the potential of the McD's HE-Man for this type of work the Chap Mei lead character has a much more natural face when compared to the anime He-Man.

There are a few other characters from the Beast Raiders line that deserve the same treatment so i hope your planning on getting around to those.

Kudo's and , again, great artistic work!

WOW, thanks for the comments. I'm very happy with this figure. I do plan on making a few others from this line, just a matter of finding the time to complete them. Hope to see versions from you guys too.
