Major WWE Travel Issues This Weekend, Batista Misses Show!

WWE was hit hard with travel problems yesterday. Batista missed the house show in Alexandria, Louisiana and many other wrestlers got to the show late due to problems with a flight out of Atlanta. The problems stemmed from an issue at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport due to a Tornado that tore through the city on Friday night. To buy time while the talent got to the show, heels were told to go out and rile up the crowd. The opening match, CM Punk vs. Chavo Guerrero, was also heavily extended and went over 35 minutes long.

Ron Simmons is on the ballot for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame. One time WrestleMania performer Lawrence Taylor is also on the ballot.
