- NextOXY.com is reporting that Hulk Hogan and his wife Linda hope to reconcile and not finalize their divorce. A reliable source close to the family was quoted as saying, "She [Linda] keeps saying to him, 'Can't we find a way to make this work?' "She doesn't want to see the family break-up. She really wants to work it out with him. But it is like pushing up against a brick wall. She is heartbroken about it." The article also says that Hulk heard about the divorce from his lawyer and not a newspaper as other sources reported. You can check out the full article at this link.

- The Orlando Sentinel has an article online today about how a crew of 100 is working 16 hours a day to bring WrestleMania to life on March 30. A steel-roof structure is being built over top of the ring to protect the wrestlers in case of rain and will also be used to hang a large video board. WWE production manager Brian Petree was quoted in the article as saying, "It's going to be a big, great show with stuff people have never seen before." You can read the full article at this link.

- Batista did not work last night's SmackDown/ECW house show in Alexandria, Louisiana as advertised.

I guess between what they are paying Mayweather, whatever that fee may be, and the massive set being constructed, WWE plans on making a net profit of $126 with this year's WrestleMania. Seriously, substance is better than flash any day of the week. If the card doesn't deliver in the ring, fans are going to crap all over it regardless of how snazy the set and pyro look.
