Heck, I think Hasbro’s offerings have been mostly average, if not bad. Many around here tend to agree. But is this really necessary? You’re not stating opinion, that I could respect, you’re looking for a fight. I don’t respect this obvious lack of maturity. Like or hate Hasbro, it’s nothing to battle over. Debates are all fine and well, but keep it civil. Plus, common, I know we’re all getting so tired of this redundant topic.

i have to admit i have givven hasbro alot of chances and have been kind up to now but im getting annoyed, heres why..................

i cant buy your marvel legends, spiderman, fantastic four waves because you dont sell them in england, you are loosing money as their was alot of collectors and fans that have missed out due to you inconsiderate course of action to stop shipping them to england.

NO XMEN WAVES what s with that their the only figures i collect, i had so much hope for hasbro this year, but instead they hold back their waves , fail to meet promises, fail to meet release dates, produce shoddy looking movie figures (hulk), fail to ship outside america.

the only good this year is the two packs, and ironman movie figures, but i bet their not in england, :(

i have to admit i like the new look for the figures, i cant fault most of the articulation, all the hasbro figures i have bought i have been happy with, However i have to buy them off the internet which i wont be doing again, EVER, so hasbro if you dont start and ship your range of marvel legends to england and sell them in well know shop like in america, well you will be loosing a fan as im seriously considering quiting collecting these figures they are to hard to find, infact they are unexistant in the uk, unless i see them in uk stores before christmas im quitting, THIS HASBRO MARVEL LEGENDS COLLECTING IS GOOD BUT FINDING THEM IS A JOKE. :(

REPORTING FOR ENGLAND, IM KIT FROST, thank you.

ALSO IF I DONT SEE A NEW MARVEL LEGENDS STORM FIGURE IM QUITTING, LOL.

Aw, someone's panties are chaffing. How precious.

And as far as not being able to find them in [said state or country], there's a wonderful new technology making its rounds called the internet. On this wonderful contraptions are things called websites, some of which sell goods in exchange for money. Look into that.

not again. JayC can you close this thread? please.

Excuse me, but why should this thread be closed? Simply because it's mere existence bothers you???

Many on this board have the opinion that HASBRO's stewardship of the MARVEL LEGENDS line has been poor; many others do not. Neither side sees eye-to-eye, so it comes down to a matter of opinion.

I'll assume that opinions are still safely expressed on this board (barring, of course, personal insults and foul language that the moderators deem excessive). Therefore, again, I see no reason that this thread should be discontinued.

In that regard, I'll add my two-cents:

Hasbro DOES stink. They've made collecting Legends a ho-hum, highly infrequent affair. Personally, I could care less when Wave 4 or Wave whatever comes out...it'll arrive when it arrives, and if they stink (like much of Wave 3), I ain't buyin' 'em...

A word of advice: Get used to people whose opinions differ from your own.

PS My personal hunch? The 6' MARVEL LEGENDS line will be gone by 2009.

i think your right lemonhead to assume that 6 inch figures will die out, but i wish they wouldnt they have been the scale of my collection im not starting another onejust because hasbro assume they have a good idea, if this happens i will loose all hope for marvel legends with hasbro, i really will.

someone has said that they dont sell in england due to no mainstream characters, im not suprised i havent hered of half of these characters coming out lately, and not everyone was brought up on comics so i think it only fair to keep main characters in the waves and release figures other than comic style.

you know what, i live in luxembourg. not far away from england and i have the same problem here. since hasbro took over there where no legends at any store around here and we have over 6 toystores around here. for a small little country thats not bad. myself i work in a toystore and i was the only one in charge of ordering action figures. i always got the toybiz figs always even the specials. they came 6 months later then the us release but they came for sure. the movie waves came always fast and not 6 months behind. now with hasbro, the legends arent even on there lists to get ordered. i of course asked the hasbro guys about it and they didnt even knew what a marvel legend is. the only guy where i can get them is a comicstore and the price is around 25 to 30 usd. from 17 to 22 euros. thats a lot for a figure

Wow, I get to bag on the Storm groupie.

How Delicious.

I'm sitting here reading this post and I'm seeing the usual blasts taken at Hasbro. They didn't make [insert obscure fanboy character here]. They don't do paint washes. I don't like BAFs. Hasbro won't deliver to my house forcing me to actually go to a store and look for them. etc, etc, etc. ad nauseam.

Then I get the gem, provided so graciously by the "I dyed my hair white so I could be more like Storm, tee-hee" Storm groupie. "Hasbro won't sell in Europe."

Yer kidding, right?

It's an AMERICAN company, baby. Based on an AMERICAN comic book. Get over yourself. If it's that important to you, move to AMERICA. Legally, of course.

Maybe I'm just feeling negative cause I spent my morning listening to talk radio in which the sound byte of the day is Barack Obama's minister/spiritual advisor spouting anti-white, anti-AMERICAN rhetoric, saying that AMERICA had 9/11 coming and that we deserved it, talking about how the rest of the world hates AMERICA and that if we want to repair our world image we need to lay down and roll over for all the other countries in the world and do what they want us to do and I'm just tired of it.

If the rest of the world hates AMERICA so much they why do they always want what we have? Why are so many people chomping at the bit to EMIGRATE to AMERICA?

You want to talk about Hasbro's products? Fine. You want to talk about how sensitive they are to adult collectors vs. the kiddies that they cater to? Fine.

But DON'T sit there and whine about an AMERICAN company not distributing to you in "jolly ole" England when you have so many other means of getting what you want and are just too lazy or too indignant to use them (i.e. INTERNET).

no cause this is the 100th Hasbro Suck thread. and i for one am sick of it. Hasbro Suck we get it. can't we talk bout anything else.

6' inch marvel legends gone by 2009. i don't think so. it time for people to realise that Hasbro is a business. and for a business that most important thing about a company (beside money) is the customers.

and to those who said that hasbro aren't bring out anything. what bout the Spectalur Spider-man, Iron Man, hulk movie range and Spider-man Classic? are they from another company? NO! there not the best but there something.

I think the Hasbro haters just like being a lot more loud/vocal(annoying too) then the ones who actually think they do a good job.

Oh, lets see, Hulk movie line looks kinda dinky, true, Abom would be much better off with a different plastic color and paint choices, the Hulks of the wave actually look pretty good besides the heads, and that might just be cause of the way the Hulk looks in the movie(nether of the Hulk movies have captured his face's look very well so far, i watched the trailer to the new one so i know) either way kids will still buy the wave up more then likely(unless it shelf warms like the last Hulk movie line did, and that was TB hmmm)

Hulk BAF line, and what may i ask is wrong with this? NOTHING, its a great line, the 4 figures seen so far at Toyfair look good and we've seen protos of the rest and which ever 4 get done will look pretty good also, and Foom is awesome(yeah too small, but then again so was the Sentinel and Galactus)

Spider-Man line, sucks they are using the movie figs for the first couple of waves? yes and no, some of em look good and would actually be nice additions, some not so much so, but at least they said new stuff if coming, and besides, Spidey sells, unless its a 5 inch scale movie line. As for the animated Spidey line it should do pretty well also, and the Spidey figs them selves look pretty good, not ML worthy cause of the styling but still good.

Lack of Icons, sad for some yes(not me personally though, 12 inch figures just aren't my thing) bad choice by Hasbro to stop selling em? probably not, costs are gonna go up and those bigger figures can't be cheap to produce and they prolly don't seel as good as normal sized Legends anyway.

Lack of X-Men stuff, yeah theres quite a bit of X-Men fans out there, but for gods sake, we've gotten plenty of X-Men stuff in the past, be patient and wait a year or so(i'm sure the 2 packs will have something for you, and theres still Beast and the Nemesis from HML4, and Spiral from HML5) i'm sure the Wolvy movie next year will mean lots of Wolvy/X related stuff also.

Most of ya'll are just whining and not actually posting anything of any use, so why not stop for a second and actually think out some good thought out posts to why this or that sucks, instead of the same blah blah Hasbro sucks blah blah, it gets really tiresome and old.

JediRL...

WOW... You my friend are being a jerk and taking this to a whole other level of stupidity.

You are that stupid american my friend. Our fellow collector deserves the right to be pissed if he can't get the figures regardless of where he is at. You going to bag on someone if they are in Canada and can't get the figures either??? Stop listening to that talk radio its making you dumb. No connection here buddy... Keep the politics off the board.

Oh yeah, and for the guy who always crys about a firestar figure... Did you notice the custom firestar figure on toynewsi... Those custom figures look WAY better than anything Hasbro has released this year. Firestar could actually fit into an X-Men line because she is a Mutant! But sorry chump, you don't get her...

Listen guys, we have the right to be angry at Hasbro... Their trial and error sucks in our opinion. I have a suggestion on how to keep your mouths full if your interested.

this is the biggest load of bull #$@# ever posted in a thread.so let me get this straight, because europeans dont live in america, they are not entitle to recieve their products? thats a joke right?

the rest of the world dont hate america, they only hate the dipshits like you in it.americans wine about how they didnt find anything in kb's,walmart's and targets's,but us europe folk, dont have them.you give out at how many ml pegwarmers you have, we would kill for that.and have you seen internet prices these days? shipping? an order of 3 figures that would cost 9.99 in your stores would be about £70,and with shipping would go into the hundreds."jolly ole" england gets jack #$@#.how bout you come and live here for awhile and see why we are on at hasbro?

and just because something pissed you off on the radio, dont take your frustration out on collectors who dont have the priveledge of being surrounded by endless stores that will eventually get something, because we will get nothing.

But DON'T sit there and whine about an AMERICAN company not distributing to you in "jolly ole" England when you have so many other means of getting what you want and are just too lazy or too indignant to use them (i.e. INTERNET).

End of Line

this is the biggest load of bull #$@# ever posted in a thread.so let me get this straight, because europeans dont live in america, they are not entitle to recieve their products? thats a joke right?

the rest of the world dont hate america, they only hate the dipshits like you in it.americans wine about how they didnt find anything in kb's,walmart's and targets's,but us europe folk, dont have them.you give out at how many ml pegwarmers you have, we would kill for that.and have you seen internet prices these days? shipping? an order of 3 figures that would cost 9.99 in your stores would be about £70,and with shipping would go into the hundreds."jolly ole" england gets jack #$@#.how bout you come and live here for awhile and see why we are on at hasbro?

and just because something pissed you off on the radio, dont take your frustration out on collectors who dont have the priveledge of being surrounded by endless stores that will eventually get something, because we will get nothing.

Hey....I lived there for almost 6 months.....They do get the shaft as far as toys go.I remember going to the TRU in Brentcross(Is it still there my Limey friends??) and being excited when I found some British G2 Transformers(This was in 96 mind you) but other than that I thought it lacked somewhat. I also bought The Obliterators at Harrods but the exchange rate was killing me.....Also I feel their pain These guys should be able to walk in a store just like us and walk out happy....Funny thing is I dated a chic with the same mentality....She said and I quote...."Anyone who doesn't speak english is stupid" lol My best friend at the time was Japenese. We had a good laugh about that.

i have to admit i have givven hasbro alot of chances and have been kind up to now but im getting annoyed, heres why..................

i cant buy your marvel legends, spiderman, fantastic four waves because you dont sell them in england, you are loosing money as their was alot of collectors and fans that have missed out due to you inconsiderate course of action to stop shipping them to england.
