Mayweather Not Injured, Y2J's IC Title Win, Hardy's Suspension!

The Grand Rapids Press out of Michigan has an article on last night’s Floyd Mayweather/Big Show angle on Raw. Mayweather was NOT injured.

 

Chris Jericho's Intercontinental title win last night made history. Jericho is the first WWE superstar to ever hold the title 8 times. In an interesting piece of trivia, Jericho lost his 7th Intercontinental title at Cyber Sunday back in 2004. That event was held at Milwaukee's Bradley Center - the site of last night's RAW where he won the title back over 40 months later.

 

When word got out last night at RAW that Jeff Hardy violated another drug test and would be suspended, people were shocked and in disbelief. Hardy has struggled with this problem in the past but most were under the impression that he was staying clean. Wrestlers are acknowledging that the Wellness policy is legit and they know they'll wind up on WWE.com if they fail a test.

 

WWE SmackDown ended up doing a 2.6 broadcast rating last Friday night on the CW Network.

I was watching one of the slow replays on Raw and you could clearly see that Mayweathers elbow and entire arm never came close to even touching anything.

I'm more upset about Jeff Hardy going down that slippery slope than Mr. Money and his sucky mic skillz.

 

Jeff's clearly more talented that Matt and has a larger fan base (= merchandise sales) yet if these rumors are true, he's no better than RVD. Yeah they're cool guys, down-to-earth in real life, yada yada - but can't overcome their addictions.

 

I've got nothing against pot to be honest, I've done it in my time (many times) but if this is your career and the CEO of the company wants to give you the proverbial ball to run with then grow the F-up and act like a leader.

Mayweather & big show. this sucks. Mayweather sends his guys out before him, then he walks real slow, were big shows gets him. i didn't like how the whole thing went down, it could have been a lot better. and i don't think Shane was to be knock down like that.

i guess they needed a gimmick for W.M.24. wwe is paying him a lot of money to do this. the problem is that Mayweather has no cuarisma, when hes in the ring, but who ever came up with this idea, needs to work on the story lines a lot better. i guess they want to try to do davit and Goliath again.
