All Spiderman Wave

I was thinking that Hasbro is running out of A list Marvel characters, and after a while they're going to have to become much more creative in choosing characters that both appeal to the collector, as well as to the retailers. Spiderman has always been a good sell to the buyers, and we've always been supportive of the wall crawler, so if Hasbro were to sell it, would you buy an all Spiderman wave? Not Spiderman characters like Aunt May, Flash or Gwen but ALL Spiderman figures. I think it could be done, given the number of costume changes over the years. I know some have been less than successful, and many downright ugly but I think it would be interesting to get a Spidey through the years wave; Armored Spidey, Scarlet Spidey, Cosmic Spidey, multiple arms Spidey, Black Spidey, & maybe the re-release of Iron Spidey since he was so hard to find originally. I know I'd love to have any of these figures, if done right especially Cosmic Spidey. I know it wasn't a popular idea at the time, but I still found it interesting.

No.

I wouldn't buy it.

Hasbro's last Spiderman wave was absolutely pathetic - the WORST wave of Legends-style figures ever produced. We don't need another one.

In addition, I'm sick-to-death of Spiderman. How many Spiderman figures could a person possibly need?!?!?

Do we really need another Green Goblin? Another Doc Ock?? Another (Barf!!!!!) Venom?!?!?!?!

Please....

to answer your questions

do we need another green goblin?

-yes,id like the unleashed one scaled down

do we need another doc ock?

-yes,id like the white suit version

do we need another (barf) venom?

-yes,id like mac gargon venom, its a nice new design for the character, technically its another character too

how many spiderman figures could one person possibly need?

right now im at 21 figures of just spidey (6 inch scale) and 38 villains/allies/whatever

id replace my cosmic spiderman, scarlet spidey, armored spidey,6 arm spidey, and black spidey for new figures if they were decent additions

and the whole "Hasbro's last Spiderman wave was absolutely pathetic - the WORST wave of Legends-style figures ever produced"

they were movie figures, they dont count, and i think hasbro learned from it too

so please...... hasbro, make me some new spidey figures

There is another 6 inch Spider-man series coming out this year. Puma and Tarantula are supposed to be some of the first to come out. No worries about Spider-man figures here. As long as Spider-man stays popular there will always be some type of figures out that meets collectors needs. Thats why some people have so many Spider-man figures.

It would be great to see a "MADAME WEB" & "AUNT MAY" & MJ from the cartoon or like the Statue that's out (Washing spidey's mask) but all Superposeable.

In the line up if they do make decide to make a special Legends wave!!

Also a SPIDER CARNAGE figure (Superposeable versin)!!!

hahaha just to say, the new spiderman wave is so typical hasbro. so where to begin? hm first wave of villains are once again a rererere lunsh of the movie waves that toybiz already did, same as the heroes wave. today i got the latest previews and i dont even know why i am surprised, they show some of the new pictures of wave 2 and guess what? all repaints hahaha. everything what toybiz did over the years, is now repainted. shokker is more in the yellow, ultimate rhino is in black/grey now and there is the 6" movie sandman with the 5" sandmans hands. it looks so stupid. the heroes wave has 3 spider-mans so far. two regular movie spideys and one black costume movie spiderman. it looks like a toybiz mold just repainted. it looks better then tha crap hasbro did in there trilogy wave. i realy cant wait to see tarantula and puma  . i realy have the feeling that this line will last @smilepunch@ . once again precious hasbro show what they can do. repainting till the house breaks down. @loll@ i realy think i am finished with spiderman figures. maybe the one or the other but never an entire wave again with all those repaints.
