Unreleased DTC wave 4

Is Master collector still plan on releasing these guys? The news of them has been very quite as of late.

I wonder if there was just less interest in these than anticipated. I know I have no interest in that sculpt of figures anymore. if the "theatre" sets didn't sell well with great figures included, I can only imagine how bad these would sell. seems like a bad idea to go forth with these.

I want them. Especially the Officers in masse. I'll take a dozen Night Vipers too. So I hope MC hasn't abandoned the idea, and that me and novax213 are the last two souls who still are waiting.

 

 

I still hail this line. The only regret is getting the RR Cobra Commander instead of the unreleased camo Firefly.

I'd get them but I dont know about Master collector prices. I wish they would go back to the catalog for the mail in battle point system and throw wave 4 in there. That would be awesome.

I wish the unreleased DTC wave4 would be online exclusive like the ARAHC wave5 and BAT 6 pack from few years ago

I don't really care about them anymore.......there wasn't anything that I really wanted in that wave anyway. Back when this was all we were getting for RAH style Joes I wanted all of them cause thats all we were getting.

 

But then the 25th line happened.....and now the DTC stuff looks pretty lame in comparison. I'm not speaking absolute about the DTC stuff but the 25th stuff is the next best thing to RAH IMO.

 

Plus I would hate to pay MC prices for stuff........thats a big turn off for me.

For one thing, Master Collector announced they would be offering the Wave 4 figures this year... they never anounced a date. Between the likely small run, and other things being more important (getting the JoeCon exclusives that were backordered into the hands of fans who already paid for them), I think it's a bit early to speculate on when they will be released, let alone rumor-monger about them being cancelled outright.

 

Personally, I only had interest in Munitia, and that was passing-level at best. Owning 12 Cobra Troopers myself, I can't say I'd need or want any officers, and the Joes were just repaints anyway... not my speed, really. I bought multiples of Wave 1, for Major Barrage, Mutt, Scrap Iron... but after that the DTC era lost it's steam toot-sweet.

 

And now that the 25th line is kicking everything I loved about the new sculpt era in the huevos and leaving it rolling around on the ground in agony... yeah, I could care less.

 

If Munitia winds up on e-bay for a good price, I'll probably pick her up for a 25th Plague custom. But otherwise...

They really sucked tobegin with, so I think it would be wise not to release them. The only one I had any interest in was Outback and I would say he has a shot in the 25th line, so nah, PASS big time if they did make them.

The GIJCC did say that if we wanted the figs as-is, they would come out quick. All I can guess is that there were some changes that people wanted....and they may be a bit gun shy after the Mauler fiasco.

I wanted the Night Viper and Airtight, but since the 25th line has taken off, I'll take my chances and wait for them to come out in that style.

I am not sure about this but didn't master collector say these would be released before the convention.
