Iron Man Wave in the Fall?

LegendsCollector07

Recommended Posts

I've heard speculation of an Iron Man wave in the fall. Since they did one for both Marvel movies in 07', I think it is safe to assume that an Iron Man wave will be around. Now knowing this I am kind of hesitant to buy the Iron Man movie figures because if the Legends Wave is any good I'll put that on display instead of the movie figures. Can someone give me some feedback on what to do, I just don't want waste hard earned cash.

So far everyone is just assuming there will be an IM ML wave, would make sense and we are kinda lacking in comic IM villains so it would be a good chance to such, maybe a comic based Titanium Man for a BAF and Crimson Dynamo for a normal fig with a bunch of comic based IM armors, I would like a new mold for the Modular Armor myself hehe, maybe space armor and hydro armor.

Personally though, i'm gonna get pretty much any of the movie armors, they will still fit in pretty good for comic style.

even though i want a iron man wave. i don't think it will happen and according to your logic Ghost Rider should have got a ml line as well last year. that would have been great. i guess we'll have to wait and see for this one.

When there are cool Iron Man action figures I end up buying them. I would love some Iron Man comic based waves with lots of villains. You could dovetail Iron Man characters with Avengers characters if necessary. I would count on a new Iron Man wave happening sooner rather than later.

Off topic, but how do you make a signature with a picture i.e. Tarot's Firestar and etc? Can you change the picture often? I want to start doing that.

Personally I'm gonna cherry pick the movie versions that can be fit into my existing M.L. Iron Man armory display. Like the Mark 3 armor, Iron Monger and possibly Titanium Man. That way IF they do release a comic accurate wave later on with the same villians I can easily replace them and I'll have some version of them IF they don't. At least they're not doing a BAF with the movie line, so it's not like anyone is "forced" to buy versions they don't want just to get parts to a figure they do.

maybe, maybe not who knows. I going to buy the movie figures anyway, as u can see from my signature, i'm going to buy a lot of figures this year.

Why is there a classic Green Power Ranger in your sig? Is Bandai finally giving us Rangers that aren't just for three year olds? I'd like to see more six inch Rangers with decent sculpts like the Walmart sets from last year (but with more articulation this time).

If they do an IM ML line, please, for once give us a decent Mandarin. That stupid rubber robe blew the big one. Plus, a Madam Masque figure, Blizzard, Radioactive Man, Comic Titanium Man, Crymson Dynamo would be pretty cool. Also would not be a bad place for Perez style Ultron.

YES! Goodbye bunnytron, hello Perez! It would be cool to do a set of villains, something we've been lacking away from a lot of the BAF's of late (unless you count movie characters). I'd like to see a Grey Gargoyle too - especially as it's such a simple design. The best thing about IM is like the army builders you can buy one no matter how many waves he appears in as he has such a vast armoury.

Not that I condone a repeat of the Wolverine in every wave syndrome... @hmmm@

Well I was looking at the Iron Man figures I do have and I got Series one Iron man, Hulkbuster & Thorbuster Iron man, and War Machine. I think the movie Iron Man is more Comic accurate than the modern armor Ironman I saw. To me the Toybiz modern armor Ironman is really ugly and doesn't look sturdy for dispay. But lets hope an Ironman wave comes out that way we can have a really good comic accurate modern Ironman and also a new stealth blue Ironman, because I don't have the dollars to get the toybiz one (I wish I would have bought that figure when I had the chance when I was in middle school @grumpy@ ).

gee... an iron man ML wave? never heard of plans about this one... but if they're true, well, another wave is always welcome... and it's very very much welcome! and i hope they make some iron man villains... good ones, not crappy ones like that mandarin from the FO line... they can remake him though...

Maybe habsro didn`t have time to realease a GR ML series.

When FF2 came out,a ML series was released.

SM3 had too many different products in all scales, but later this year they will release a SMC line

So, I hope they follow this trend with IM.

oh and another reason Ghost Rider may not have gotten its own legend line, might be bc the movie was a bit of a dissapointment. And I am not just talking financially.

If you don't like that answer, then how about this. How many of you out there are just screaming for a Lilith legend. Or a Blackout(ok that would be cool). Deathwatch. Vengence (oh wait he was done and quite the peg warmer he was). Could you have even gotten a 5-8 figure line. Granted if they could have figured it out, the BAF could have been a kick ass Hell-cycle. First ever BAV. And when I say a 5-8 figure line, a line not half made up on variants on GR.

Honestly I think a Ghost Rider M.L. wave wouldn't have sold all that well even IF they had branched out and included some of the Midnight Sons or other mystical charecters. Not sure how well the G.R. movie figures did in your area's, but in mine they warmed the pegs for months. There's still at least 1 discount store I know of that has almost the entire wave on clearance for $2.99l
