Need some ideas for a diorama base

I am in the process of making a GI Joe diorama and am looking for a base of some kind for my Cobra troops. I don't want the Terrordrome (too $$$) and was wondering if anyone had any ideas or places/websites to look at something that may work. One idea that would work, but I can't seem to find it, is the base made for the Power Team Elite line that was reviewed at Generalsjoes.com (www.generalsjoes.com/reviews/PTE/hq.html)

 

I will take any ideas, help or suggestions you have. Thanks in advance for the help.

the PTE base has been spotted at Big Lots stores over the last year, so you can probably get one there...

 

other than that.. maybe look outside the line.. like Batman, Powerranger, Turtles, etc.. see if they have any bases.. and then just spruce it up with blues here and there, and cobra logos, lol I think I remember seeing someoene's Bat cave turned into a cobra base or Dreadnok base or something like that... anyway, good luck and let us know if you come up with something.

Have you looked at the Cobra Mountain that somebody did on Joecustoms.com? thats kinda cool too.
