WHAT'S THE BEST HASBRO MARVEL LEGENDS CHARACTER SO FAR

I'm reserving judgment only to those figures I have, hence no 'future' ones...

MALE- Mr. Fantastic. I've been wanting a good 'stretched-out' Reed with white trim since 1985 or so. It's not just that he has that look I've been wanting for several decades; his ability to stand on his own while towering over the other figures to show off his elastic powers makes him easily my number one. Black Knight is my second, just because I really love the character, but his inability to ride an 'Atomic Steed' annoys me to no end.

FEMALE- Marvel Girl (Rachel). She may not have 1000 points of articulation, but she looks pretty and powerful, and that's really all Rachel needs to do. She doesn't know kung fu. She-Hulk was good, but not having even a sculpted fist seems silly.

BEST BAF: This is a tough one. I'm going to have to go with Blob, just because I have a soft spot for Freedom Force. I probably would have said Ronan, but I can't find that blasted Sue (any help?), so it's hard to make a declarative statement.

Wow someone picked the craptastic Johnny Storm?! That figure is the biggest POS figure ever made. Hope he was being sarcastic.

Ill go with Cyclops and Rachel Grey.

And WHY do yall like the Cannonball? His uniform is friggin pinkish purple... real men do NOT wear pink.

Only real men wear Pink - ask Archangel!

My faves are

Male: Xorn, close second is the Movie Colossus (Hate me if you want but I thought it was ok)

Female: She Hulk followed by Invisible Woman

BAF: Blob followed by the Brood Queen.

I'm loking forward to Astonishing Beast, Spiral and Foom in the upcoming waves mind!

male: thing - i know a lot of people don't like him but he has exactly the look of thing that i like and he's not too gigantic. thing is wide, not super tall.

female: she-hulk, though hasbro's females are more consistently better than toy biz's (except white queen and danger). toy biz females were either great or hideous.

BAF: a tie between blob and brood queen. i like blob as a character better, but i think brood queen had better execution.

in the future:

male: wendigo - the sculpt looks sweet hopefully the final product is just as good. also excited about absorbing man.

female - 2pack elektra. very pretty face, much better than toybiz's. also i'm excited for spiral so she can go with mojo, longshot, psylocke, and mandarin.

BAF - holocaust. joins longshot, sm2099, psylocke, and sabretooth for my exiles team and a character that i love. hopefully beast will come out quickly so i can complete him.

yep, that xorn figure is dope. i bought two, thats how dope it is.

i bought three for no reason other than i work in a toy store and id get bored so id buy another for something to mess around with while no one was around

wow i wish someone would do that in the stores that have nothing but x3 phoenices left.

best male: black knight (lord thor and hercules as runners up, but if that 2-pack ronin is already out, it would be the best male)

best female: rachel summers marvel girl (but if that 2-pack elektra was already out, it would be the best female)

bet villain: FF wave dr. doom (annihilus and mole man as runners up)

for best future figs, i don't want to comment on that. :P

First off, if we are judging the best hasbro figures, should we be even condsidering Cannonball, Domino, or cable for that matter as they are just rereleases of TB VII Ghost Rider, XMC Rogue, and XMC Wolverine just with new heads and paint apps?

Favorite Male -- Dr. Doom. hands down a great figure. second place award would go to Astonishing Cyclops.

Favorite Female -- Marvel Girl. just a great figure. second place is She-Hulk. only thing that did not push her to first is fact that she has the open hands. She is a bruiser and to me that says a closed fist for punching would need to be a must

Nicest Surprise -- Black Knight. just getting a figure of this guy was nice. Fact he turned out well was just icing. Have to hand it to Hasbro for giving some, and pardon the expression, obscure heroes. And if only we can stop them before we get a 3rd Beast released by them (does this make Beast the New Wolverine of ML, I mean 2 figures in 4 waves, granted I do want the Astonishing Beast figure, just the X3 Beast serves no purpose to me).

What I am looking forward to

Nova

Ronin

Absorbing Man (hopefully his release is a little more widespread)

My Hope for the Future of ML

Please keep movie versions of figures reserved to Movie lines. I am sick of buying X-men movie figures. keep the ML legend line for Comic inspired figures. Also Hasbro, if you have an individual line out for a character, say Spiderman for example, keep the SM figures to that line, don't put the figure in the ML line as well (as is rumored with ML5 getting a black suit spidey).

If we aren't counting Cannonball and co we shouldn't really count the majority of wave 1 & 2 as I'm sure I read Toybiz had already created the molds before Hasbro bought them off them. Is this true or have I been hitting my medication too hard again?!
