Series 1 Iron Man or series 8 Iron Man?

Which one do you all like more? and why? I prefer series 8 more articulation and better looking armor.

i guess if youre into the classics,series 1

i might like it more if they updated it and gave it better articulation,i cant stand the sculpt (or any of the reuses the did with it)

i have been obsessing over ml8 iron man foor like a year and one just came in the maill a wek ago, its not all that great, its hands are tiny (with armor on?!?!?)

its lefs are weird, and so is its face plate

 

 

and sereis 1 is just easier to move and just looks better and more classic looking, i like articulation, just not as muck as that ml8 has.... only on deadpool ml6

i like the ML8 one better... i'm not a big fan of the old bodies used by toybiz, i mean those bodies used when then the ML line was just starting out...

I like both , but i'm a little closer to the Series one Ironman, cause that's the Armor that Tony/James used when i first read Ironman.

Classic all the way. It just looks powerful. Series 8 looks like a girl should be inside it and doesn't seem like it could handle serious power.

easy- ML8. ML1 is nice, but i prefer the more modern look, and i cant stand those shoulders...

I like them both,but I guess I favor the ML1 version more. If the ML1 fought the ML8 suit the ML8 would win because it's more up to date.

to be honest i thing s8 is a really overrated figure!

i couldnt wait to track one down and when i got it i wasnt too impressed

i want series 8 loose for my display, but ill keep series 1 iron man gold variant with gold comic inside its package. damn that 8 cost a arm & leg sometimes. i have yet to get that on ebay, hopefully under 7 bucks.

ML8 - Anorexic and bulimic. Slimmer than other any other ML action figure. Maybe the armor was really for HML 1 Emma Frost?

 

ML1 - Really good for its time (2002), but now its time to update the sculpt. It is 2008 Hasbro. Give it the update it deserves !! No fair to compare a 2002 design to a more later one (2005). Apples and oranges folks.

 

And by the way, the coming 6" Iron Man movie figure could use more musculature in his lower limbs. He really looks like a man in a tin suit (as in the Tin Man of W of Oz)! And I don't dig his hands' lack of articulation and small size (looks like a 13 year olds'). The 12" inch version looks much, much better.

im not a big iron man fan but did he get fat at one point? cause i have a hulkbuster iron man and theres no way tony stark can fit into that costume. sorry, im not updated in my iron man reading, only civil war. also, did anyone notice the thor buster figure is tall? what? did he get tall at one point too? cause then after the ultimate iron man figure came out and then he became short again. this whole thing might sound stupid, but im seriously curious.

I think series 1 Ironman still holds up remarkably well today. It’s easily one of my favorite ML figures and I’ll always prefer the classics.

I'll speak about the ThorBuster. That one is an anomaly, he is totally not that tall and I think that is one for a Marvel Select scale like Lord Thor. I personally put mine in my fodder bin and customize it ti a Titanium Man figure some time in the future.
