I'm not a fan of the episode 2 clones

I finally realized why I'm so disappointed that these are an animated style. It means we are not getting good versions of movie characters that we have yet to get. I have been looking forward to this line because I have figured we would finally get Grievous and many other figures that badly need resculpts. But now my hopes have been dashed and now I'm going to have to wait even longer for them. I kind of doubt Hasbro will even put out new versions of characters that are in CW in the normal line because they will put them in the CW line.

I really like the looks of the Clone Troopers, Captain Rex, Grievous, and Battle Droids. They don't seem to look so outlandish that they couldn't fit in with the rest of my collection. Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Yoda on the other hand do have a much more animated look to them. I'll probably pick up at least the Clones and droids.

 

And the vehicles are amazing. So much money to spend...

I was worried that I would not have room for these. I think I'll just get vehicles and skip the figures.

I think they're good looking figures and capture the look of the new series, but I doubt I'll be getting any of them. Maybe I will when I see them at retail just to check them out.

It's infuriating that they're just stylized enough to look out of place with the rest of my clones. Don't get me wrong, the designs are cool, but I can't afford to start a second army of animated clones.
