They look pretty cool!

Could have looked better though... I just see no likeness in the Indy figure to Harrison Ford...

I was thinking the same thing about these.....they do look kinda...'off' or cheap or something.....I can't put my finger on it...if you click on the Indy figure his eyes are all wonky or something :S

Either way that German motorbike figure looks awesome and even though these are very small and dinky Im still excited to get the figures

Oh don't get me wrong I am super excited for this line especially the playset... but they do look sloppy for now.

It may just be a post-production prototype picture of Indy that is making him not look right!

The Indy/ Arabian Stallion and German/ Motorcycle look excellent, better than expected!! I was concerned about getting a "static-posed" horse, but it seems pretty well articulated (Indy too). My only question is "where's the sidecar?" Perhaps it's just not shown (there is an attachment-port on the side), or maybe it will be another "deluxe" offering with a soldier?

As far as scale goes, "get-over-it 6" fans"! This line was made for 1:18. You'd be hard-pressed to get the character selections and epic proportions that these films encompass at any other scale...especially at today's petroleum costs.

Most of this looks pretty darn awesome. However, the Indy’s themselves are…lackluster. Their faces are pitiful. I really hope their eyes aren’t that bad. What is that, Indiana Jones upon seeing the Well of Souls? O.O! Snakes, why’d it have to be snakes? Is it just me or do the eyes looks so bad…that they’re actually photo shopped and not actually the eyes on the figure? Something doesn't look right.

I eat my words about the playset. It’s surprisingly not as bad as I was expecting. I still hope we get new ones though. The tree miniset bodes well for that.

But the obvious scene-stealer is the German on Motorcycle. That’s just…amazing!

I do hope you're right Riker.....I know Hasbro is capable of making really cool toys...I'd hate for Indy to be a disappointment...here's hoping it's not! :)

...heh...I'm still giddy at the fact there are like...over 30 figures coming out from these movies :D

It's always tough with toys based on movies because they will only last for a certain amount of time so I think companies won't put as much time and effort on them as per say Marvel Legends or Star Wars which keeps running for long periods of time because of their vast amount of characters.

I say we shouldn't really make assumptions on the final quality of these figures until we see pictures in Toy Fair because Hasbro is known for showing their first product pictures looking very different to the final product.

The origional Indy toys weren't great sellers

I do notice a couple of these figures looking very similiar to those pegwarmers

you need to learn the history of why the old toys did not sell well. It was NOT due to people not wanting them.

Once you learn the history, you will see why Hasbro is so excited.

Indy sells, just look at what people will pay on ebay for a Disney figure even.

I think the fact that people are paying ridiculous prices right now for the figures on ebay is the fact that they are excited for the movie just like when a new Star Wars film, Star Trek, Marvel, DC, TMNT etc comes out in theaters... it's the hype.

As for the original toys I was a child so statistic wise I don't know I remember loving them and collecting them with my cousins and siblings.

I agree with both of you the new toys are most likely going to do very well among collectors and even new young fans whose parents grew up like I did with the original 80s films. However the recent ones in Disney world are always pegwarming and I know I live in Florida and I go to Disney at least 5 times a year since it is so close to where I reside. People who pay ridiculous prices on ebay have no way of getting them because they don't have a Disney world around them.

Not sure what site you were trying to link to, but Hasbro has launched their new Indy site with plenty of pics.

Shame they didn't do the figures in the GIJoe 25th style.....I would have been quite interested if they had, as is they're kinda meh.
