EA Looking At WWE For Future Video Games!

With WWE dropping Jakks in 2010 there is also talk of them dropping THQ when their deal ends the same year. EA is very interested in the WWE video game license and are likely to put in a bid for it when their deal with THQ is up.

I think WWE had more of a probplem with THQ than Jakks so I think it is very likely they will get a new company to make games.

I'm ready for someone else to take a crack at the games. Maybe not EA but if any company puts in the effort they could make a good game on the first try.

EA did make the Def Jam games and they had people from AKI working on those.

EA sucks at making wrestling games, NO THANKS! There only good at making Madden and thats about it. Dont be fooled by the branding.

What wrestling games have EA made before?

I remeber EA and AKI was going to make a WCW game back for the PS2. When WWE brought WCW the game was can. EA did have EA Chicago when they Fight Night 1,2,3 and Def Jam Icon and they were going to make a Marvel fighting game. EA Chicago was disbanded last year. EA have the right to G.I. Joe, Mass Effect, and other games beside Madden.
