Minimates Essentials

Dude! This has been a TOTALLY ROCKIN month for minimates.

 

They kinda fell off my radar. I been high on DC Classics and Joe so I TOTALLY been overlooking Legends (Screw that!) and my 'mates! It looks like Diamond might not renew the Marvel license and they're not selling well for DC so DC is going to cheap out on them from now on. (So long 3" body!)

 

Anyway, this week I picked up the Defenders, the Taskmaster set, the Hobgolbin set, and even the Zombie Iron Man set. They ALL totally stoked me! Now we're getting DC Wave 7 and (praying to Jesus on THIS one) we should be getting Marvel wave 19 and 20 this month so I'm totally hard for my 'mates right now.

 

The Marvel line's totally stepped up giving us figs we been shouting for forever like Thor, Hawkeye, and Vision. Here are a few holes they still need to fill:

 

Avengers:

 

Wasp & Antman/ YellowJacket (Better yet! Do Wasp& YJ and include AM in a First App. Avengers boxed set with Thor, GOLD original IM, Hulk, Wasp & AM. I'd buy Thor all over again for an AM and Gold IM!)

 

Liesure Suit Wonder Man & Beast

 

Falcon & Tigra

 

 

Defenders:

 

Gimme HELLCAT & NIGHTHAWK and I be happy, Dude!

 

X-Men:

 

Classic ANGEL and CLASSIC BEAST

 

Classic Jean Grey ( Do her as Marvel Girl, Phoenix whatever but please! No more G** D*amn Cyclopses!)

 

Bad Guys:

 

Electro & Kraven (It blows that we STILL aint got a Sinister 6!)

 

Blob & Pyro (It sux too that we aint got a BRotherhood of EM!)

Marvel has announced that Minimates will now be created in limited edition quantities of 2 from now on just for us.

How can they not make a Deadpool? You are right!

 

How about giving some Marvel Minimates a revamp in scale? It would be cool to have some Marvel heavyweights in relative sizes like that of the DC Minimates.
