Secret Wars Legends Wave

Here is an idea that I came up with while reading the Secret Wars TPB...

How about a Secret Wars wave....

Could use 6-8 characters as they looked then....build a figure could be a 16" Beyonder....

Any thoughts????

So Beyonder would be 16 inches of... energy... um... stuff...?

How do you articulate a star cluster?

You could do Beyonder from SWII, but that still doesn't work, as he wasn't that size. Even if he was, and even being the OCD-style collector that I am, I'm not sure I'd want a 16-inch figure of a guy wearing a disco suit and sporting a Jheri curl.

I'm all for Secret Wars figures, but nothing about a Beyonder BAF would really get me stoked. In fact, the only BAF I think is really possible if you stick strictly to SW is the cosmic Doom from the splash page at the end of issue 10.

the Idea for a box set or special HML series of Secret Wars figures is a good idea. The problem is the BAF. I would love to own a Captain Marvel (Photon/ Pulsar), the Wrecking Crew, and a Kang figure, but the only possibly BAF would be a 7"-inch titania (a six figure collection limit) or a stretch such as the Growing Man.

Yeah, Yeah, I know, the Growing Man was never in that particular series, but at least he is related to one of the main characters : Kang, and it gives us a new BAF that may actually be large enough to spend money on to own.

I'm loving this idea!

We could get a Captain Marvel/Photon, the complete wrecking crew, a good looking Ultron, a Kang that is actually sold in stores, and a few other cool characters that don't have toys yet. Titania, Enchantress, and Molecule Man jump to mind.

How about no BAF but instead you have a collect a comic series. 2 waves of 6 figures in each wave. Each figure comes with it's own issue of Secret wars. The first wave has issues 1-6 and the second wave has issues 7-12.

This series has a lot of great unexplored characters. However, alas it will never happen.

It would be sweet, but I don't think Hasbro has the legal right to have the comics in it....

I like the idea though!! It was a good time for comics..

Man, I'd be totally into this if they used the Secret Wars toy designs. I need me a ML version of that old Doom! He was my main Doom (my only Doom!) while growing up so he's got a special place in my evil loving heart.

i think that this is a good idea. but i don't see it happening anytime soon. if hasbro is going to make boxsets, i think there are a lot of boxsets that would be made first before this one. alpha flight. x-force. wrecking crew. etc. etc. but still, i think, this boxset would be very cool. let's just pray first that hasbro would make boxsets... then, on with our wishlists!

they have the legal rights, it would just be too expensive.
