new x-men, wolverine

i think the best looking wolverine figure would be the one from x2 wolverines revenge the game. with the new x-men outfit. i know they sort of did this already with the x-men classics, the wolverine with no shirt and removable jacket. he came with a little robot which he could slice apart. it was the same base figure as the logan from the legendary riders series. they should make the wolverine version from the game, no removable jacket just a molded one, make his face not look retarted like almost every wolverine figure made, they either have him smiling, sneering or almost laughing. just a normal frowning expression like he has in the game. it would be great if he had interchangeable hands, a pair with claws, and a pair with them retracted. this probubly won't happen. but its still the best look for wolverine.

 

(oh and i hope the wendigo thats coming in the new hulk legends wave looks like the one from x2 wolverines revenge also)

how is it a boring design....personally i think wolverine looks better without the tights. logan is a loner charcter, seeing him in a team with tights and the ears on the suit....wolverine looks alot better in street clothes. plus there are so many figures of logan in a suit, brown suit, yellow/blue suit, ultimate x-men. but theres no decent new x-men outfit.

 

unless you like getting the same old design with a few modifications, then theres not much else i can say. i just think the new x-men version of him is like a cross between street clothes and a suit. plus the version of him from the game looks really badass, as wolverine should always look.

nice one. yeah thats what he should look like, except the jacket is not removeable, its just a part of the sculpt, also no big collar on the jacket, throw some gloves on and a shirt underneath. that would be wicked.

First off, the Age of Apocalypse story arc is an alternate reality that has counterparts from the mainstream Earth (Earth-616). So Cyclops from that reality is a villain, Magneto is a hero and so with Sabretooth. Wolverine is known as Weapon X and another guy was named Wolverine that looked like a blue bouncer for Holocaust and Apocalypse. Here's an excerpt from Wikipedia: "After the Age of Apocalypse story arc, Bishop travels back in time to prevent the timeline from ever occurring. This occurs simultaneously with a nuclear exchange between the Human High Council and Apocalypse. Most characters were seemingly killed by the nukes, but the fate of the remaining survivors remained unclear. It is presumed that they were erased from existence."

 

Some characters escape the Age of Apocalypse into the Earth-616 continuity. These include Beast, Nate Grey (the AOA version of Cable), Holocaust (one of Apocalypse's horsemen), and Sugar Man.

short and buff is what wolverine is supposed to be,not short and toned

ya gotta read the Exiles story arc where the powers that be fired the whole damn team and pulled all the Wolverines from different timelines and realities, including youthful James Howlett, AoA Weapon X, Elsie Dee and Albert, Zombie Wolverine, among others. Wolverines on a rampage! It was real hilarious read and fun, not too mention good artwork !

man! that would be an awesome wolverine, but i'm against the unremovable hat. which comic/issue is that from? i'm about 7 years behind on my comic book reading.
