Yes, I know it's not a sequel to Ang Lee's Hulk, thus, it's not called Hulk 2. It's called "The Incredible Hulk" I just copied the title of chud's article.

I was hoping for something a little more traditional. You would think the comic version would make a great visual for the movie, but Hollywood chose a rather mediocre design. I don't think it even looks great as a generic bad guy to fight the Hulk.

Hopefully, the actual figure will look better in hand, but I'm doubting it. I'll probably stick with just the Hulk ML's this year.

As a toy I don't mind, since the ML13 one was so good. As a character in the movie, yeah I'm kinda disappointed, maybe they were afraid two giant green guys would confuse people....

I like the ML 13 Abomination we got so I don't feel the need to get another one of that version. I'm glad he's different and that figure I can use to be some kind of demon for the Defenders to battle. He looks tough and big and scary. Hopefully he'll be 6 1/2 or 7 inches.

Agreed. He's going to look fine on the big screen. That said, this is NOT my Abomination. I'm still getting him because I need some villains but otherwise I'm still perfectly happy with my ML13 Abomination. He's perfect as far as I'm concerned.

It's also good to see that Hasbro learned from the SM3 movie figures debacle, and is making some quality figures for Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk.

I'm probably not even gonna bother with the Hulk movie series, and while I agree that Hasbro is great at screwing up everything related to Marvel, that picture kinda brings down my expectations for the movie, after all, this is pretty much the first news or pics we've gotten.

Agreed. He's going to look fine on the big screen. That said, this is NOT my Abomination. I'm still getting him because I need some villains but otherwise I'm still perfectly happy with my ML13 Abomination. He's perfect as far as I'm concerned.

I'd like Hasbro to re-release the ToyBiz Abomination with their sturdier materials. It would have have inferior paint but he'd be poseable at least. My first Marvel Legend Abomination's arm came off (big surprise) and it feels like my second one is about to also.

 

This movie Emil Blonski (He is not the Abomination, according to the director) figure may not be the final version. The director said he hated the reptillian look but was ok with the large ears yet the figure has no ears that I can see. We know that initial pictures can be much different than the final version, don't we? >cough, cough, Emma Frost, cough<

it is possible that maybe he has 2 stages of mutation (i doubt it but its a maybe)

and maybe they went back and changed the movie version after they let hasbro see the first version

it does seem weird that he would have the ears,that is almost a trademark of the charcter and really seperates him from the hulk
