Hello all,

When I first started sculpting, I did some research and found Magic Sculpt. I know that a lot of people that do customs use Aves products (Apoxie Sculpt, Fix-it Sculpt). Now my question is, which one is better. I haven't tried Aves products yet. Magic Sculpt is ok in my opinion, but it leaves me desiring something better. It has a working time of about 3 hours which is fine with me. The problem is that when it's fresh it's too soft, and when it gets firmer it's too hard to sculpt in details. In my opinion, it's too "sticky". It's almost like old chewing gum. It's still flexible/pliable, but you can't do much with it. So I was wondering if Aves is the same way or if anyone has used both and can tell me which is better. Thanks in advance.

IMO I use the aves product and it's pretty pliable after the dry time, of course I'm using a dremmel on it afterwards for the most part, but when I have allowed it to set (little Impatient) I've found it to be very good with shaping and adding the flare you may be looking for. It's definably the best.
