Simple Comic Pack head swaps

Since Grand Slam is using the Flash head, thought I'd make my Flash more unique.

 

Not quite what a Fred looks like to me, but that's where the helmet comes in.

 

Until the Grunt mold comes out, this is a more fitting Hawk for my shelf.

 

I just replaced the legs and gear of a wave 1 Trooper with Scarface since I don't collect the comic color Troopers.

 

Comic pack Destro on 5-pack body.

You could probably take Fred's head and put it on Grand-Slam's body when he comes out, and repaint the hair to a darker shade. At least they won't be twins then. For those that don't care if their CG's are Freds, then swap heads, pop the helmet on, and put the swapped CG back into your army.

i took the CC heads from the legion 5 packs on the air trooper and the air trooper on the CC bodies.

 

you cant see the head anyway on the airtrooper and since the helmet on CC is removable you can put it on the trooper head

 

BOOM!!! instant assassin troops dressed in black dress uniform...or maybe the cobra lawyer brigade if you give them an extra MARS briefcase!

1st thing I did was swap the Destro heads. Only reason besides Doc I bought that comic pack.

Yeah, I did the Destro headswap, and he looks perfect... no longer reminding me of his 92 figure.

The silver head Destro is a natural, and makes complete sense given the fact that none of the Destro figures should have ever included anything BUT the vac-metallized version. The Fred and Flash swap is a really great one though, and I appreciate the recommendation!

 

BTW, is anyone else thrilled with the fact that the scar Cobra trooper from the Wave 3 comic-packs actually has hair? I never understood why Hasbro put the Cobra troops out there with removeable helmets but no hair! Unless they were drawing some kind of comparison to Cobra and modern neo-Nazi skinheads- however doubtful that comparison may be.

That head for Flash is perfect, and I never even thought it. I'll have to get a second set and do up the hair orangish. That way him and Grand Slam won't be twins, an d Flash will have his appropriate haircut
