Hulk Legends

Ah, I remember back in the day when these things were only seven or eight bucks and we got giant sentinel parts.

A 50% price increase seems insane though. Fin would have to be ginormous to justify this. GIIIIIIIIIIIINORMOUS. I mean how many figs will we need to complete him... 8? Forty additional dollars is ridiculous.

I am a huge Marvel fan, and I have collected Marvel Legends since the line started, and from what I have seen, if Marvel is trying to increase their profits, they are going about it in a funny way. Every day I head to some store hoping to find some new Marvel treat, and since the hasbro takeover, I usually find some Spidey bath tub toy or the Hulk is our friend puffy figure. Since this has been happening, I have been noticing other, more interesting toy lines: DC Universe Classics (awesome detail, not made for 5 yr old or younger), McFarlane (love the Halo stuff), NECA (TMNTurtles, can't wait), GI Joe 25th (these are great hasbro, so WTF with the Marvel stuff), and then there is always the DC Direct stuff (although enough with the Batman/Superman in every line). Lowering the quality, jacking up the prices, p**sing off the fans, what was Marvel thinking? All the money I probably would have spent on Marvel stuff, I am spending on these lines, so please Hasbro, take a clue when it is shoved somewhere! @grumpy@

FACT: ML Face-Off Series - two packaged figures with great articulation, wonderful paint apps and detailed sculpt and texture, display stands and reading material.

($15 retail)

Coming Soon: HML Hulk Wave - one packaged figure with limited articulation, basic mediocre sculpt with ugly elbow and knee joints, minimal paint apps and a limb for BAF part. ($15 retail - priceless!! )

lol ........

Well if some of the rumors floating around are true Hasbro is increasing most of their action figure lines prices by up to 25%. This would explain the increase in Hulk legends, the recent increase of G.I.Joe figure (from $5 to $7 at Walmart) and the suppossed increase in SW figures later this year.

isnt this the only line that will be $15 bucks because most of the figs are face-off sized hulks, and they build for a 20 inch Fing Fang Foom, i dont think this price will stick for long, it'll only be for this line, so i dont see why everyone is complaining, they'll go back to $10.99 after this.

^^^ and the whole increase of 25% just sounds like made up BS

To be fair, Face-Off Hulk had 'limited articulation' too. And honestly (I know this may be blasphomy) but I pefer bigger figures not be over articulated because their weight makes them fall down too easy. Will I get Hulk Legends? As long as the size warrants the price I have no complaints.
