This is horrible horrible news... Heath Ledger gone...

Harry here... Heath Ledger was found dead in a Manhattan Apartment today around 2pm according to the NYPD and CNN. At this point - my take on this is... Please don't f'ing be true.

I first met Heath Ledger 8 years ago on the set of A KNIGHT'S TALE - he was impossibly young, handsome and charming. He went on to become one of our absolutely most talented and promising actors.

Right now - he's got the part of THE JOKER in THE DARK KNIGHT. We know filming is complete, but all the post - we have no idea how much of that has been finished. This news is horrifying. Absolutely f'ing miserable.

What happens now to Terry Gilliam's THE IMAGINARIUM OF DOCTOR PARNASSUS - which was filming is completely unknown. I don't know what his part was in that - or how vital he was too the film - but GOD F'ING DAMMIT. I'm so pissed about this.

He was married to Michelle WIlliams and they had a 2 year old daughter. I hate this. Hate this. I can't even imagine what we're going to miss. Heath wasn't just talented, but he seemed incredibly grounded and was working with some of the most talented people in film.

I'm so pissed about this. Not at Heath - but at the cruel f'ing fate of the world that would take an actor at his absolute prime - right when he was about to explode with what seems like an astonishing performance as the Joker. This is just cruel. Cruel to his family, friends and absolutely brutal to all of us that were so looking forward to spending years and years watching him entertain, touch and thrill us in theaters.

It's just crazy... oh and him and Michelle weren't married, only engaged. But that he left behind a 2 year old is so sad. Apparently they were very close and everything. That poor lil girl!! now she'll never really know her dad! Alot are saying it wasn't a suicide, just an accidental od or a mixture of medicines that went wrong. He was having trouble sleeping and he just got pneumonia as well. So it could be what he was taking for both.

Either way, it's so sad... he was on top of his game and could only go up from where he was heading. It's too bad it all had to be cut so short!! :(

I do not think anything I say will ease the pain, but make NO MISTAKE, his ART will stand on it's own.

The Dark Knight has yet to be in theaters, but the buzz is it ROCKS! Thanks to Heath.

He was too young, but the impact he made will never die. He was very intense. Even though I hated it, the whole Broke-back Mountain issue assured me that he had NO LIMITS to his acting ability. He really was straight, not that really it matters, he could be anything he wanted.

But to pay respects for the dead, Heath Ledger was a great actor. PERIOD.
