Better heel? Edge or Randy Orton?

I really can't decide who's the better of the two at what they do? So who do you think is the better heel? Also who is the better wrestler?

I like NOTHING about Edge. Randy Orton has a great look (not quite as good now that he's off the gas) that's really all the positives I can come up with. so, I guess rany Orton wins.

And yet it's just the opposite for me. I like nothing about Orton. Edge has just been the better wrestler since day 1. Face or heel,there's just something about the guy I like. Orton has always rubbed me the wrong way,going back to that whole crap they did with his arm. And on top of that,they've got the nerve to tell you he's the son of a "legend". I'm sorry but since when does being Roddy Piper's flunky make you a "legend"?

Heel - Edge - hated for the right reasons (he's a bad guy, he does evil stuff, he is smarmy as hell but all in the context of the game), whereas I hate Orton because he's a self-absorbed, immature jerk & apparently that's how he is, somewhat, in real life. If he'd own up to all of his screw-ups & quit having said screw-ups happen, maybe he'd be a bit respectable. And yes, I do remember the whole Lita/Edge thing. But at least they admitted to it.

 

Wrestler - Edge - much better wrestler & in ring work, great on the mic.

Edge is bar none one of the best in the business, when hes done he may be one of the best of all time. Orton is lightyears, lightyears away from anything being anything comparable to Edge.

 

Ring work, hads down Edge wins that bout. He's better than most wrestling today.

 

Mic Work, Edge is one of the best in the business, Orton is just a cut above a guy like Jeff Hardy. Ortan can project himself well but he is monotone an uncharasmatic at the best of times.

Edge. I'm knocking Orton, as I do think he's doing a good job, but Edge has a lot more experience and is much better on the mic. I just think Edge plays the heel much better.

I was just thinking yesterday that WWE really is lacking in good heels. They have alot more top face talent right now.

Contrary to what everyone has said. Orton has taken anger management courses so he's not as bad as he use to be. He's definately calmer now. As far as wrestling goes I dont see one FAAAR greater than the other. Character wise Orton is a lot more evil than Edge. He's done some bad things and he seems more serious than Edge who just cheats and weasles his way to victory. Edge is mroe fun to watch though, he's probably one of my favorites out there right now. Always was a HUGE fan of his. But i dont think Orton is that bad himself.

In concert with Cristian, Edge has given us... time and time again...AWESOME MATCHES! Back when he was schlepping around with Gangrel, you knew dude could put in work?! As a face, he would generate heat for any heel he was sparring with, and got an "Autopop" whenever his image was on screen. When he went heel,all bets were off... because only great faces make excellent heels (maybe it''s all th positive feedback from the "face" work?) Dude has paid his dues... and then some!

 

Orton was is and will be a watered down Rock clone! The package they created for him was the same treatment rocky got after all the wacky gimmicks went the way of the dustbin. He did have potential, but he pisses it away by letting his ego sabotage his pushes. How many times has someone called him out on the mic and he revert to his whole mugging for the camera and allegedly "smart a$$" tone? He's gotten a little better in the ring... I'll give him that. But if he really wants to reach that upper echelon, he needs to enter a feud and work it till the wheels fall off!

 

I only see three legends that could help him on the mic; Stone Cold, because the rattlesnake has a way of getting under people's skin... forcing them to look him in the eye while he makes you the butt of everyone's ongoing joke. Mankind, Mick Foley is God! basically created the "Autopop" where as soon as he drops a quote, fans go BANANAS! Orton would have to keep up with his wrestling genius (problem being with that, Mick tried to reach out to him and Orton went dark instead of humorous?!) Chris Jericho, CJ is quite possibly the best in the business right now. He needs to drop that codebreaker stuff, go back to super cocky and let the smarks feed him ideas. There's a reason why Chris had both belts first... he earned em?!

I agree with that. Orton just has not had that one fued or match to really get him at the top. I don't know if the problem is with Orton or if the right opponant has not come along yet. Michaels helped him some with that fued they had but it would have helped more if it was the old HBK. Triple H has done all he can. Stone Cold can't help since he likly will not wrestle again. Foley needs to step things up himself before he can do much with Orton again. Maybe the Undertaker could bring something out of Orton. Everyone else (Cena, Lashley, etc.) still need that little boost too so they won't be any help either.

 

The match that finally made me accect Lesnar as a Main Eventer was his HIAC with Undertaker. After that match I liked Lesnar alot more. Orton needs that kind of rub.

I don't care for either of them. I feel Edge plays up the anger too much at times, and Orton is..well.. Orton.

 

They need to bring up Morrison. He's the future, imo.
