As controversial as this may sound but I think every wave should have a villain and or an army builder. I think there are just too few cool Marvel Legend villains. There are a ton of classic foes that have yet to see the Legend status! How about Doombots, Aim Agents and Shield Agents? Where is the Wrecking Crew? Count Nefaria? Graviton? Attuma? Ultron (Perez)? I'll come out and say it; I want an Avengers villain wave!!!

 

O.K., GreenLanternPrime you're incharge of our next villians wave you've got some good idea's there or would you prefer a villians box set. If you're going to do a standard wave with villians give us who you would choose and the BAF if you're going to do that.

Wow! A mega wave like this one could only be handled by Walmart exclusively. I could see Wally world cranking this one out for all the evil craving fanboys out there. @sonar@ If this wave had wide distribution to all the toy retailers I don't know if they would have room on their pegs for all this evil, goodness.

this is my wish list for the upcoming marvel legends from hasbro. I don't want them for this year but I hope that they will be release in the future:

-gladiator (shiar imperial guard version of course, this one should be bulky)

-vulcan

-starjammers (especially Ch'od and Raza)

-wrecker's crew (thunderball, the wrecker and piledriver)

-drax the destroyer

-Luke cage modern (new avengers)

If some of these (good looking) characters would be released one day I would be really happy. I don't understand why the 3 first wave included some really bad looking characters (or maybe the sculpt was really bad) like yellow jacket, all the movie-based characters (seriously who cares about the movies ??? a special product range should be created separately from the ML range), emma frost, ultimate wolverine, ultimate ironman, hydra soldier and black knight.

In the region where I live in France, most of these figures were not sold because of their "useless" aspect (or because of the bad sculpt)...that's a shame...

 

Seriously, when toybiz had to work on ML series, they released very good looking characters...since hasbro work on it, they had release 2 or 3 good figures...but that's all. I enjoy to see the next wave which seems really better than other waves !!!

his sculpt (both face and body) is very poorly done. He has a teenage boys body, and one of the stupidest faces ever to grace a male ML figure. I guess he could pass for a first appearance figure.. but its a shame they did such a terrible job on him.

 

 

and how do you figure aesthetics when the new joints are ugly??? they don't look nearly as good as the standard joints - see hydras sausage link legs because of a missing knee

It is getting harder and harder to choose. So many of the figures I want are female, that I just don't see Hasbro ever releasing an all female wave. I am thinking the best way to solve this is by having 2 packs; one guy and one girl. This way they are sure to sell:

I think the best way to sell a wave of Marvel Legends is to look at the books right now and choose popular new characters from Marvel's books and have a even mix. For Example:

 

Ares (Mighty Avengers) w/sword and axe and removable helmet

Winter Soldier (Captain America) with pistol and rifle

Warpath (Uncanny X-Men) with twin vibranium knives

Radioactive Man (Thunderbolts) with removable helmet and backpack

Ronin (New Avengers) with sword and interchangable Maya Lopez head

Ronin Variant with sword and interchangable Clint Barton head

Multiple Man with removable trenchcoat

Multiple Man Variant with removable trenchcoat and "M" tattoo on face

 

BAF Drax the Destroyer from Annilihation

 

 

Personally, I would love an all X-Men wave like they did with Fantastic 4 but considering that only Wal-Mart seemed to get them and they are already clearance, I guessing that Hasbro will be hesitant to do something like that again. My only other wish/request is that Hasbro refrain from putting any more Ultimate or Movie based characters in their Marvel Legends assortments. If there really is a demand for those give them their own lines. I grind my teeth just knowing I have to buy them in order to get all my BAF parts.

i totally agree. Lots of the guys i want made are getting/have gotten made. but it seems like the females aren't. They need to try and put at least 2 females in each wave.

 

I also really like the idea of a Storm & Black Panther two pack. I bought their Superhero Squad 2pack...and it's like, only the 3rd superhero squad pack i've ever bought.
