Best Venom figure?

Just curious, does anyone consider the Hasbro Venom figure to be the best version of the character so far or is one of the TB ones still the champ?

SMC 16 Venom, very big and muscular like he should be. Looked at the movie version, it does not compare. Comic version is the best!

they should have done that and just stuck with the clip on arm blaster for his action feature

hasbro needs to scale down the icons figure- which was basically the SMC16 figure w/o the action feature but with hinged torso and ball-jointed neck.

My favorite is the HML Venom. I've gotten some great poses from him. I like the Spider-Man Classics one a very close second. I am a bit disappointed withe the Unleashed 360 Venom. It's an ok figure but i think $19.99 is asking a lot for such below average articulation in my opinion.

there have been some cooll Venom figures.

 

SMC16 - GREAT figure, but a stupid action-feature and rubber head mess him up pretty bad..

 

Icons - much like the SMC16 figure, but without that crappy action feature!

 

Sinister 6 - cut off the Sabertooth elbow spikes and he is cool... a nice clean version of Venom without that annoying tongue.

 

Super Hero Showdown - like the SMC16 version but smaller and no rubber head! He's cool!

 

 

if I can only have one for my collection, I have to keep the SMC16 figure.

on a side note, i watched SM3 on DVD this afternoon, and i found something seriusly wrong with the new venom figure: his toungue. some people have complained it's too pink, or the way it's shaped, but it shouldnt even be there. it makes sense though, raimi had mcfarlane do control art for venom, and since his version didnt have a toungue, neither did the movie version. DORX UNITE!

thats why the unleashed version is the best one

the tongue version is just what sells to kids and people who got into comics just b/c of venom and know nothing about marvel except that venom is the best character ever created

for comic/cartoon representation, i choose ML icons 12" venom although it lacks the white square paint (where he shoots his web) at the back of his hands.

 

for movie representation, i choose venom from ML hasbro spider-man trilogy series although his arms are bit longer than it was supposed to (from my opinion). in fact, i think the 5" venom is way better than the unleashed 360 version.
