These look awesome! I am looking forward to the DC Direct Sinestro figure, but this one looks great too, and makes so much sense! The Deathstroke is amazing also. Hope I can find these variants.

Damn, the Deathstroke variant is boughten, but I was hoping for a Robin variant, myself. Either a Titans-era Dick Grayson, or Tim's original costume, would've been fine by me.

They look great, tho. This is definitely going to be my favorite set unless wave 4 has some Titans/Young Justice characters.

I think the DCD version looks better.

The DCD's body sculpt looks better but I don't really like the head (even though its accurate to the comic art it's based on). This is a hard one, I'm really not sure which one I'd want to get.....

If you're just gonna pose it in that one pose or 2,which is all that it's 9 POA will allow, then it sure is better than the DCUC version that has 19 POA & is in scale with the rest of the DCSH/DCUC line.

Hmmm?

You can have the DCD, turnip colored, big brain version, leave the DCUC version to the rest of us!

Well, it is his opinion. don't belittle him just because he likes the DCD ver over the DCCU ver. PErsonally, I like the headsculpt of the 4hm and the articulation, but the DCD has more detail costume-wise; seems logical since the latter was intended to be in that costume while the Mattel one was made to be based off of both his classic and recent sinestro corps outfit.

Seeing as how I'll want him to be in scale with everyone else, I'm guessing I'll ge the DCSC one. I say that like I'm guranteed to find him. I'm not having trouble finding wave 1 but I haven't see the RT variant yet. Now if they're like the new ML variants (Hydra and Marvel Girl), which I've seen pleanty of, I'll be happy!

He does that everytime DCD comes up in a post about DCSH/DCUC.

I can't help but feel these were very stupid variant choices. I mean classic Tim Drake Robin and another Lantern make WAY more sense.

I co-sign on that one. I was actually hoping for the classic Tim Drake Robin as a variant, then we

would have the best sculpted definitive version of Robin. I have no idea why Mattel wouldn't

have him as a variant either.

Having this version of Sinestro makes sense though since the green lantern series with him in that getup is really hot right now.

that comparison shot shows truly how inferior the DCUC one is to the new DCD one. Im liking alot of these DCUC figures so im not biased towards DCD, but this sinestro is a better figure by a landslide. The articulation is pretty much identical so that can't be used as an argument.

While I agree with the level of detail being higher in the DCD version, I can't understand how you can make the argument that the POA are the same. The DCD version has ankle, knee, hip, neck, arm, and elbow joints. They're all pretty simple joints too. The 4H version has all those including a waist swivel, mid-torso joint, mid thigh swivels, and bicep swivels. That's an additional 5 POA, which albeit isn't a huge amount more, but it adds a great deal of value to the figure in so much as the posability (which we're all gonna do) of the figure.

I concur. Another Lantern would make sense, but honestly, if Mattel did make a lantern like John Stwart or Kyle, people would complain of rbeing chases. I would rather have have a maskless fig and a variant costume villian than a popular classic outfit and a new lantern as chases.
