Marvel Toys "Legendary Heroes' canceled ?

It's toybiz, so I figured this would be the place to post it, did the Legendary Hero line get canceled ? Wave 3 and 4 were listed on toyglobe.com, but now it says "canceled by manufacturer". What gives ?

wave 1 stuck around forever (and still is) i just saw the 2 packs for the first time a month ago

I saw wave 2 once, and everywhere still has wave 1 so no big surprise here,ah well, I have my Pitt, that's the important thing.

This actually goes in the Independent Comic Book Characters forum and here's also a link to a Wave 3 Cancelled? thread. Personally I wouldn't believe anything Toy Globe says, but I might be able to believe that they might cancel the line, even though they already have the protos for the next series, but I hope not. I have seen all of them from 1 and 2 except for Marv, which I still need.

using toyglobe as an authority is a bit of a stretch, they have been known to be inaccurate in the past. Jesse has stated a few months ago that it was not canceled, and that things were actually going well. The TNA figures are taking a while to go our to the stores also, it just appears to be an issue with toybiz production

I'll post this in the other three thread pertaining to the same topic(!?!) Marvel Toys won't be at Toy Fair, but they let it be known that the line will be continuing! So eventually, we'll see more stuff (I'm thinking SDCC?)

From what I understand, getting the licenses for so many indy characters may slow the production down some. Unlike Marvel or Dc, who can mass license characters, you're dealing with many people that have to approve prototypes, accessories, and even the BAF and parts included. So they may be hamstrung by this.

Its being reported on the main page that the TNA wrestling license has gone to Jakks Pacific which was the only other line Marvel Toys had. Looks like MT is on their last rope based on this news.

That assumes that they have no other lines or licensing deals in the works, possibly to be announced at Toy Fair. If they do not, then I'd worry...
