I saw this on ebay. I was just curious, do you think its the real deal? Why would toybiz only make one?

That guy's nuts, he won't sell at that price, never in a million years. The fig looks nice though,nicer than the regular wasp.

If somebody actually buy's that they should check into the funny farm.

i'm not so sure, but i think TB manufactured 8 of those.. yup, only 8 blue wasps.. maybe the tag line "the only one you can find for sale" thing is just a marketing strategy..

they made a case (of 12) of each of blue wasp, psylocke, and luke cage. it's probably the real deal. it's definitely not the only one for sale in the world. maybe at that exact moment in time.

look at the recently completed auctions. one did not sell for 1500 but one did for 1200+

2 weeks ago, i placed a bid on a blue wasp from hong kong for 1575.00, but was outbidded by a fellow collector who i know personally. he won blue wasp for 1586.00 he has it now

 

1 week later another blue wasp was up from singapore for 6000.00 , but then dropped to 1500.00, it had card bend damage and crushed clamshell damaged i did not bid because of this. I was told by seller it was placed in a too small box and bent when shipped to him.

 

it did not sell on ebay, but was brought person to person. for unknown price

 

this is that same wasp has bent card and crush damage. also has 2 dots by elbows and has no downfacing arrows just above knee. but wants 1630 for it.

 

I could and would buy it as many of you know , but no thanks

hey, if i had enough money to buy that Wasp - i totally would. It looks so good. I was so annoyed when they didn't release the Psylocke and blue Wasp variants. I think the variant Psylocke looks even better than the original.

Wasn't blue wasp supposed to have higher boots with arrows on them?

 

Is it possible this was made from a Psylocke figure? I say that because the plastic holding the arms together looks to be cast in a deep blue, not painted.

 

Regardless, whether it's real or not, I don't think I could EVER want a figure that bad to pay over $1500 for it. I think the most I ever paid for one figure was $100. And it sure wasn't worth it, I guess, because I don't remember what figure it was.

does anyone know WHY toybiz would have put only like 12 of these out? Why not just release them??

 

uggggh. i want those variants so bad. Espeically the Psylocke. I feel like that paint application makes her look better. The regular version's face looks kinda weird.
