best versions of characters

a poll about the best versions of characters from the marvel universe to help me with a theory. the only rule is it must be in a six ich scale, since that is the primary scale for Marvel figures. please include both the character and the figure title (and wave number, if neccessary) for clarity.

examples:

spider-man-sinister six box set spidey

iron man-ML1 iron man (btw, i chose older figures to help un generalize it)

multiple choice example:

captain america-face off/ ML1 cap.

ok...

Wolverine - the astonishing version (from the BAF Apocalypse line)

Iron Man - the modern version( i dont eeven OWN this one, but he looks the coolest)

Mr. Fantastic - the newest FF Ronan wave one. I know, the fact that he's like 10 feet tall doesn't make him easy to display, but he looks cool and actually has a good face.

Invisible Woman - the FF Ronan line one. She just looks great. Even if it is an odd costume choice (i feel like she only wore that costume for like, 5 issues)

Human Torch - the variant boxed set one of him half flamed on.

Cyclops - the Hasbro ML one. Really cool figure.

Captain America - ML wave 1

Jean Grey - Phoenix verison (but, who wouldn't choose that one?)

Hulk - Hands down the Face Off version

Iron Man - Silver Centurion, Modern Armor looks anorexic next to Warbird

Wolverine - Face Off and Brown Wolverine (Series 6) (Tie)

Juggernaut - Blob Series

agree with a lot of your list....but this one confuses the hell out of me, not only is ML6 juggy just a damn near perfect figure, but the movie version was so disgustingly craptacular that to compare the 2......

LOL!!!Hahahahahahahahahaahahahahahaaahahahaha! "Craptacular!" Halarious! @loll@

ML Series #3 Ghost Rider

Hulk from the Hulk Classics line that came with the free Banner(can't remember if it was ser.1 or ser.2 brain fart)

ML Series 6 Juggernaut

Brownie Wolverine

Those are a few of my favorite "MARVEL" figures. B)

Wow,nice thread .... now I got to think of my faves ...

Just bought the HML FF Silver Surfer, and while I prefer almost everything else about the ML-5 version from Toy Biz, the face Sculpt makes the Hasbro version a winner

SMC Sandman (although I plan to add the Unleashed 360 version along with him)

ML-8 Ice-Man

ML-8 Storm

ML - 10 Cyclops (poseability is the key here)

Giant-Man Thor

while the MS She-Hulk looks better, the HML version is a poseable winner

Face-Off Captain America

Face-Off Daredevil

Face-Off Mandarin Variant

ML-4 Punisher

Red Cosutmed ML-4 Elektra (but dang, we need a new version)

FFC Thing series 1

Smart Hulk from Series 1 of Hulk Classics

ML-8 Modern Iron-Man

ML-9 Nightcrawler

ML-6 Brown Wolverine/ XMC Stealth Wolverine (a toss-up)

ML-13 Abomination

ML-13 Green Goblin

ML-15 Mar-Vell version of Captian Marvel

ML-6 Cable

FF 1st Movie version of the light-up Human Torch

Spider-Man 2 movie Aerial Spider-Man/ SMC Photo-Snapping Spidey (another toss-up but this Spidey got muscles)

The look of the XMC Colossus is spectacular, but the ML-5 face sculpt is fantastic.

ML-3 Ghost Rider

ML-6 Juggernaut (enough said!!!!)

Trying to make a decision about the Hulk just made my brain explode a little. He's already, like, seven characters unto himself...

Indeed, so hard to choose. @loll@

As for the others, well I don't have enough to compare since I mainly collect Hulk, but out of what I DO have,

Thing-FF Classics wave 1 Toybiz

Wolverine-Apocalapse wave

She-Hulk- ML2

Leader-FA normal version

Abomination-Onslaught wave

And now Hulk, hmmmmm.......I just can't decide.

Ha. Any Hulk is the best version of that aspect of Banner's psyche.

Because if they don't all have their own individual names and traits at the moment, they will eventually.

Heh, true.
