Marvel Kubricks

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have been collecting minimates for awhile and other Marvel figures when I came upon the old Marvel Kubricks for cheap. They began to grow on me and I started getting more and more for my marvel collection.

I thought I got up most of them, but then I found out about the 1:96 super rare ones, I've seen pictures of the six armed spider-man but I haven't even seen the spiderham ones anywhere. Now I really want the spiderhams but i have no idea where to find them, how rare are they (pricewise)and are they impossible to find at this point? Does anyone here have either of them????

Well I have a complete set of all the Marvel Kubricks released. Spider-Ham (perhaps the coolest Marvel Kubrick) was expensive around 100.00. The Symbiote version is not as cool but probably around the same price. Doppelganger is very cool and i think only cost me in the 50.00-60.00 range. The other 1:96 figure is the Venom-Punisher figure. That one is tough becuase there are fakes out there.

There are also movie versions of figures; Spider-Man (red/blue and black), Daredevil, Wolverine, Silver Surfer, and the entire Fantastic Four.

If i can dig them all out i will try to take some pics.

I was searching on the wed last night and noticed that there will be a Spiderman3 movie Kubrick series. The webbing on Spidey and Venom are sculpt and raised. I'm not sure is it a box set or mystery box though.

I am sure if they are coming out with something new but the movie spidey figures i mentioned are from Spider-Man 3 and it sounds like the ones youe described. They were exclusives to stores in Japan.

I was able to dig most of it up. If there are any missing they are mixed in with my star wars and back to the future kubricks. I hope you enjoy. I admit i had not known about the battle-damaged version but i quickly bought one, so it should be on it's way. The other link doesnt lead to a spider-man kubrick so i am not sure which you are referring to. I know the movie wave should be out soon. Perhaps that is what you were talking about.

Will Kubricks still put more waves of these out? Last wave I saw wsa #4. I really do like these figures, but got frustrated when it seemed like #4 was the last.

And to answer the original question. I bought a box of Wave 1, and opened up the 1:96 Venom Punisher What If figure. I sold it on ebay and it ended up going for around $100-120. It was a while ago, so I don't remember exactly.

Thanks, just waiting for the new Spider-Man wave to come out. I also forgot to take a picture of the X-men box set. If anyone wants to see that as well let me know.

I'm waiting for the movie set too. I'm still not sure if it's going to be a blind box or boxset. And the availability.

Usually Kubricks aren't hard to find. The only one I had problem was the Batman Begins boxset. For some reason I can't find it in Canada,Hong Kong and Japan. Only saw it online...
