25th Serpentor, Iron Claw and Nightmare Soldiers!

Ok, Serpentor was painted to match his card art which I liked better anyway. I`m going to do a V1 Serpy at a later time so don`t worry on that. Iron Claw is almost finished with just a few more paint apps on the head (like the eyes and stuff) to be done to complete. I`m going to use him as Serpentors new General after the defeat of Skar. Figured since he was obsessed with Ghengis Khan and Serps IS part Khan it would work great! Anyways, the Nightmare soldiers were made by dying a bunch of SHS Torch figures that I got from TRU for like a $1 a month or so ago. I`m using them as sort of undead experiment soldiers created using human and Cobra La technology. Only loyal to serpentor. It`s a shame these figures don`t stand well on their own though. Anyways take a look and enjoy!

Wow those are pretty awesome. I was really disappointed when I found out Serpy wasn't being released with the full Cobra frill thing on his back like back in the day. How did you get the frill...if you don't mind me asking?

"Depressed bald guy" - I love it. I've gotta at least fix the eyebrows in my Serpy - I can't stand looking at that crappy figure. And why did they make him before Bludd?

 

Anyhow, I, too, would like to know where you got the frill. Is it just the regular one that's been released with other versions?

 

I'm weirded out that they left the cobra "hood" off of Serpentor. I know DD didn't use it, but it was always his primary design element. Make him look like a King Cobra. (And wasn't that going to be his name, originally, or am I making that up?)

By the way, the head is completely repainted which includes the eyes and eyebrows. It really helps the head look less pathetic. He has hair too underneath which tommorrow i`ll take some pics to show it better.

That's one of the things I loved about the original. The badass king cobra shaped helmet. I'm so glad you made it. It looks wonderfula and makes me curious upon why Hasbro didn't utilize it.

Thanks, Serpy`s frill on the back is from the original figure. I just drilled a hole on the back and popped it on. Had an extra laying around from the comic pack. BTW, the Comic pack V1 Serpy helmet is a perfect fit for this head for those wondering.
