I have seen both listed as the variant on 2 different sites.

 

I have seen both at Retail (Wall Mart)

 

SO which is the Variant?

i'm pretty sure it's like the Ultimate Iron man in series 1. it was 50/50, in the case there were 2 ironmen, one masked the other unmasked.

it's not really a big deal, which one is which, there's no true difference to make either better than the other, it's not like the doombot variant from ml 2 or anything, i'll never understand why everybody gets worked up about whether to wear the mask or take it off, i guess that's the question
