New footage on the DVD

So I rented Transformers last night, popped it in and watched it through. I was suprised to see extended scenes right in the movie! I noticed at least 3 scenes were longer, that weren't in the theater. (at least not in my theater)

When bumblebee throws the kids out the car, in the theater, as soon as they were out, he drove off, and it immediatly went to showing him parked on the road in the new 08 form.

But the DVD, he drove off, showed him driving further away, he went up on two wheels, passing another 08 camaro in the tunnel, scanning it, while still on two wheels, then he drives up and parks showing they money shot.

Another one was the first time we see Otimus Transform in the alley way, it was like 4 seconds longer, and you get to see a lot clearer view of parts moving around, etc.

Another one I noticed was in the city at the end, Blackout had a longer scene when he was walking around with that tail rotor weapon.

not here, I saw the movie 3 times in theaters too!

as soon as those parts come on, my brother and sister were with me as well, and they thought the same thing, those parts weren't in our theatrical version. Most noticably the Bumbleebee stunt..

I had always wondered where he scanned the 08 car from, cuz he just came out of no where

I saw it 5 times in the theater and those scenes were in it. Your theater must have gotten the first reels with stuff missing.

guess I just got one of the rare shitty versions of the film in the theaters then, cuz they seriously weren't in there.

I'm glad I watched the DVD!! Or I would have never seen them

Well Mike, at least this clears the air in certian scenes:

"Hey he's wearing a new set of clothe! He was just in a different set of clothes! Why is he wearing a new set of clothes? OH wait! He's back in his old set of clothes!" Did you see that? It just swithced back to his old set of clothes!"

that happens now and then in movies most of the time you just don't notice

I still like to know what ever became of barricade?

according to the comic version of the movie...Prime destroys him after taking care of Bonecrusher (hence he is late to the city fight)

BUT ive been hearing rumours that because that seen didnt make it into the movie, it didnt really happen and so Barricade will make it into the second movie

I was wondering about deleted scenes....cause there is none on the DvD and I had heard about a Prime and Barricade fight...but I'm thinking Barricade is dead cause you see parts of him on the deck of the Navy Ship at the end of the movie. I could be wrong but I swore there was parts of him on there.

I don't think any of the Decepticons are dead dead.

Spoilers:

Apparently in the sequel, Soundwave is suppossed to be a preist that will revive Megatron and the rest of the Decepticons while Starscream comes back with his own crew. So even if Barricade didn't make it out alive, he'll be back.
