Customizing ARAH heads for 25th Figs

Does anyone have any thoughts as to how we could customize ARAH heads to fit onto 25th bodies? The best idea I could come up with was to cut off the neck, then drill into the bottom of the head, fill with putty, then place on a 25th fig's ball joint to mold the putty into the right shape. However...I dislike working with putty, and was wondering if anyone had come up with a cleaner solution?

I don't know about cleaner, but if you have a Dremel tool, you can browse the selection of bits they have. You can find a multitude of bits with rounded tips. Just drill up into the head like you said, then use the round bit to create the socket. Do a little at a time until it fits. If you went a little too big on the socket, just drop a little super glue in to make it a tighter fit.

thats what i do there is a green cone shaped sanding bit that is perfect and when you cut the neck just stay with the hair and jaw line

You've inspired me to buy my first dremel. Thanks. Anyone have photographic examples of this sort of thing? I can't be the first person to think of using the old heads.

the old heads are big the newer sculpt jvsc vvsv spytoops work but not rah it looks weird i wasted a good decimator head

oh ya and if your going to get a dremal get the one that plugs into the wall the battery one will die right in the middle of you using it and you will want to throw it

I think you can get imitation ones at Big Lots, but don't quote me on that. If all you're going to use it for is customizing, it should do the trick.

Aint that the truth!!!!! I need a new one every year around Christmas time and my wife always buys me the ones with batteries! @grumpy@
