Very few thing have gotten me exited....but

With all the new joe's announced i have found myself feeling like a kid again.When the convention showed the retooled vamp it took me back to when i was in the hospital and my mother to make me feel better went out and bought the first vamp for me.That was the only time that i was unable to put the stickers on for myself(she did a great job).i was talking to a friend of mine that i grew up with and was showing him all the new stuff that will be released.we talked for almost 3 hours on where we were and how cool it was for myself,his brother,and him to find them when our parents took us to knoxville to find them.

 

Talking to him reminded me of our love for the joe's and friends that we are.We now have family's of our own and even though we talk sports,family,politics,and relgion the spark in each of our eye's when the topic of gijoe comes up is so cool.It's like we were when we were kids and i for one would like to thank hasbro for that.

 

The fact that GIjoe has over taken my collection is great.I have had problems with the marvel legends,star wars,and wwe figures.All in all it looks to be a great finishing year for gi joe and myself and all my friends are looking forward to next year.

 

Now let's get to another reason for this other than me blubbering.I don't know about ya'll,but i would love a DR.VENOM.he was character that truly needs to be immortalized in plastic.

The convention sets are making me feel very nostalgic as well. It is the first set that I really REALLY want. So many great veteran characters: Rock N Roll, Zap, Clutch, Grunt, Flash, Grand Slam, Steeler, Starduster, etc. Plus the old school tanks and VAMP. I wish I had saved up and gone to the convention now.
