Jessica Biel as Wonder Woman

I'm kind of neutral on it. After seeing her action star abilities in Blade Trinity I just wasn't tremendously impressed. But since I'm also one of the ones who really wanted to see Morena Baccarin in the part, I'm biased.

Justice League to be a CGI/Motion Capture Film (i.e., Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, Beowulf):

http://www.superherohype.com/news/topnews.php?id=6235

One of the most talked-about topics online these days is Warner Bros.' Justice League of America adaptation, which Happy Feet director George Miller is reportedly attached to.

Reports have said that the superhero team-up movie would include Batman, Superman, The Flash, Aquaman, Wonder Woman and the Green Lantern, that casting would start next week, and that Christian Bale (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight) and Brandon Routh (Superman, Superman: Man of Steel) would not be involved.

It didn't quite make sense how Warner Bros. would be able to pull it off, but perhaps now we know how they can. IESB.net says that the movie might be a CGI/performance capture project, much like The Polar Express, and the upcoming Beowulf and Avatar. Here's a bit of the scoop the site received:

However, and take this with a grain of salt, Imageworks are apparently in the running to provide services on the JLA film, competing with R&H and possibly WETA (the latter being unconfirmed).

But the real interesting thing about this is that the contract is for an all-cgi "photo-real" motion capture movie, much like the upcoming Beowulf.

If the reports hold up, expect Justice League of America to go into production early 2008.

So, don't worry about it if Biel gets the role of Wonder Woman for the Justice League movie. She'll just be providing the voice. In CGI animated movies it doesn't matter if the voice actor looks like the character.

For a live-action Wonder Woman version I would choose 5' 11", Miss Universe 2005, Natalie Glebova to play the lead role:

I've never seen anyone look more like Adam Hughes renderings of Wonder Woman than she. She just needs some acting lessons.

If the part is live action, I actually think Jessica Biel would be good. She certainly has the body to pull it off. I don't know if we can really judge the action in Blade Trinity, because it was directed so terribly. All the shots were cut into tiny little pieces that made it hard or annoying to follow the action - at least from what I recall.

Let's just stick to CGI, I personaly don't think there's a living actress out there that can capture the essense of Wonderwoman, if Micheal Douglas wife was 10 yrs younger, she woulda been the perfect Wonderwoman, heck, I'd still go with her if she's still in shape!

I think the idea about CGI is dumb I dont like that.I want a live action movie and I think everyone would like that better anyways.Miss Universe 2005, Natalie Glebova to play the lead role of Wonder Woman would be great she looks like Wonder Woman a little bit anyways.

Sarah Lancaster looks right, but she's only 5' 8", while Natalie Glebova is 5' 11". I'm picky.

I love Chuck, but why does there seem to be so much chemistry between Chuck and his sister, Ellie (Sarah Lancaster)?

Did you catch the "BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA" homage, in "CHUCK", last week?

James Hong; David Lo Pan in BTiLC) played a character, on the NBC tv show ("CHUCK"), named Ben Lo Pan, in the episode ("Chuck Versus the Sizzling Shrimp"). The character even used a wheelchair.

I just wish James Hong James Hong (David/Ben Lo Pan) had more lines, like:

INDEED !!!

Now this really pisses me off to no end!

Well in Hollywood you don't need to be tall. As for Chuck & his sister... did you see the Mother's Day episode? It explains a lot. Sarah Lancaster reminds me a lot of Lynda Carter.

imdb.com says Joss Whedon has left the project? I didn't know that. That kind of worries me.
